I want that Meet 2. It's 4K quality and I just need something simple to go live, shoot podcasts, or even VOD content that's talking head. I mostly make faceless videos, but with something like that I wouldn't mind getting on camera more.
Am I the only person to notice the title says Under $300 and most of these cameras exceed $300 without even adding the addons? Overall you did a really good job explaining the functions of the different camera types.
I'm thinking the best camera for beginners is probably my own late-model phone camera. They're all pretty great now and I've already bought it. Also, connected earbuds seem to provide surprisingly good audio quality. Maybe I should get a "real" camera, but maybe I shouldn't.
You've got a great start! I was using my phone for a while before I upgraded. But it is nice to have a dedicated camera and use your phone for notes etc. It's up to you!
Please consider making a video on accessories for making videos on your Samsung, Android, or Pixel phone? (Apologies if it's there already.) Also, if you're recording from a cellphone and you have a reaction channel with 4 or 5 people, what would be the best way to set up your microphones? Should I get 2 cardioid mics, and how would I set them up then? Also, would you suggest any other alternative mic setups for that kind of scenario? Thanks in advance for looking at this very specific question 😂🥲🤜🤛
Which one of these would work for filming painting/drawing/crafting small things from a bird’s eye view? Like good focusing on details and high-level view as well? Or should I just look for actual mirrorless cameras? ❤
hello! I own the dji pocket 2, and its perfect for that sort of thing. You just need to buy an arm that attaches on your desk, and then an adaptor for the tripod screw to an osmo pocket like "holder thingy". and also the EOS R100 if your going for maximum vid quality. But it will be harder to make a top-down view bc its heavier. I heard the action 4 "linear mode" (which is like without distortion from the wide lens) isn't that great, the vid quality is amazing and also the colors, but it is still very wide and it will look like everything is far away. :D
I am new content creator. So, with these cameras you can upload directly to your TH-cam channel? Or do you have to edit your content in an editing software first and then upload the videos into TH-cam?
Looks like it has similar limitations to the R100. If you wanted to do only video, I'd probably look at some of the other options. You could also shop for a used Sony ZV-E10 if you can swing it!
I'm with my battle station. I had the logitech c920 for a while. Bought the anker conf C200 (horrible). Now loooking to puill the trigger on the Elgato Facecam Pro, any thoughts?
all of them are great (trust me, I have the pocket 2 and action 4. The laptop one connects to your laptop so it depends if your laptop has good battery, and the EOS R100 is prob good if he recommended it for vlogging :/
Does anyone know when the TH-cam create app is coming out for iOS? No one seems to be able to give me that answer. Thank you so much. I know it’s already out on android but not iOS for some reason.
No, it’s a new app like CapCut for editing. It’s on android but it’s not on iOS yet although it’s supposed to be I just don’t know when but it’s not just to create a video or the studio app. It’s a separate app for editing. Thanks.
Sorry but the 1080p from the R100 looks way better than any action camera. The footage from the R100 looks much more organic where as the action cameras look overly digital. Probably do the the much larger sensor of the R100. Plenty of budget lenses, rf28mm, 50mm f1.8 being just a few. Of course light is key to good video so knowing how to best utilize available light is key.
He is showing us options we can use. He doesn't need it but somebody watching the video may not have a MacBook pro and their Webcam may be trash and so this could be a good solution for such an individual.
Potentially! They are fairly similar. I think the only downside is the lenses are no longer being made, but the R50 is pretty much the best of both worlds

Finally! Someone who doesn't speak at 100 miles per hour. Please let this fellow do more videos for you. Good content, well delivered.
You are very kind, I'll do my best! 😉

Thanks for mentioning the low light quality filming indoors with the pocket 2. I was wondering about that.
Glad I could help!
This is really helpful for small channel vloggers like me for budget options. Thanks!

Around 3-4 years ago, people were debating which is better, Canon R50 or Sony ZVE 10, now its no longer a competition, Sony ZVE 10 wins by a landslide
I think if you have the budget you could go for the Insta 360 go3s

If you want to add text or broll then you must use an editing software. However, if you want to post straight out of the camera you can do so too
@@Geethepancake Thanks
great to see you Nate, working with think media!!

I found a Canon Rebal T7 at a pawnshop amd it's already on layaway. I know it great for pictures. But, it is good for video creation?
Other than AshGreen's comment the video playing above is vaguely useless smhlmao.
I have one and I rather use my iPhone 13 Pro for videos

For video, we recommend using your iphone then upgrading to ZV-e10 at the least when you are able too. If you like canon Check out the R50.
Look into the Panasonic Lumix lineup. Gx85 or GH4 GH5 for video

What are the battery lives like for these cameras. I struggle with being able to record for long periods

Fimi Palm Pro 2 is an alternative to DJI Pocket for an even lower price.

the best mic to pair with your mobile phone next please.
Will add that to the list!
@soorajsaikumar hollyland lark m2
I recently got the hollyland lark m2. Better than anything under $250 and likely more. Its like $140 rn

A Webcam!? Dude the MacBook camera looked better. Why waste the money if there is a camera there already?

@ I hear you. I’m just giving my opinion that a webcam would probably be something a very small percentage of new budget creators would be looking for
Facts 😂
Fair point! I believe the Meet 2 has a much sharper image. You might be noticing a difference in color temperature, which can be adjusted in the app.
Does anyone know when the TH-cam create app will be available for iOS? It’s been on android almost a full year already.
m50 > r100 ?
Potentially! They are fairly similar. I think the only downside is the lenses are no longer being made, but the R50 is pretty much the best of both worlds
In my country, the EOS R100 is 550 dollars
You got what you paid for.
if you buying from a well reputable company like Sony or canon is it certain that more money will equal more quality .
Nice but no money to pay and that product far from my country. Thanks for this info.
Appreciate it! I wish there was a way to make it more accessible!
Under 300😂😂
