He has professional equipment and like thus video he’s divided the tasks up but he is the focal point . We see everything through his lens for the most part
To clarify … mkbhd cannot produce any type of film, they only produce content for social media for marques , vs going to lionsgate, hbo, Netflix etc where they can produce whatever for whomever , professional equipment working with professional SMEs but it’s still a niche for SM content creation.. it’s like Apple. You know an Apple commercial when you see one but bc they have what marques has (professional video team) that doesn’t mean their an established film company … you can’t pitch to Apple and have them produce your game show, tv series or movie (they will host it on Apple TVor hire others outside for that but Apple itself no ) you can’t pitch a screenplay etc to marques bc he only produces content specific to his likeness/brand

@@odinaka_joshua Well yes, most people don’t own a camera. It’s a Fujifilm X-T4 (sometimes X-T3). Those can be had for 700-900€. I‘d say those are pretty much at the low end of cameras that can reliably handle professional video (and foto) work. Also you have a cool name, I like it
My videos are only like 1-2GB each lol Then I delete all of my footage when I'm done. I just keep the final video save on a home made external hard drive lol.
I find David’s passion for writing and effectively passing quality information to the viewer so inspiring, even if I’m in a completely different field, his segment is super interesting as it’s own think piece on writing and communication

If we're being honest, you're only getting the absolute basics out of the 5-7 minutes of each section. Of course it enables you to stand out from all the Mid content on youtube, but you are still lightyears away from actual MKBHD quality.
Ellis does a great job explaining the 'why' behind recording good audio and not just 'how' to do it. I'm an audio engineer myself, but was very entertained with Ellis' explanations and analogies! And, in school, I heard time and time again "good in, good out". It makes life so much easier in post when you have good stuff to edit rather than spending hours and hours trying to fix bad takes or recordings.
I think the MKBHD Videos are way ahead of everything else you can find on TH-cam or TV and I really appreciate you showing us the creative team and process behind them. By the way this Video has such a value.
I've done voice over work for about a year now and have taken multiple classes about audio and Ellis' explanation was probably the most fun and informative I've seen. Absolutely amazing stuff.

Basing a review around an overarching thesis rather than about the underlying merits of the product itself is a great recipe for creating a narrative rather than a review. This certainly explains a lot about the reviews I've seen on the MKBHD channel.

The whole team did an excellent job with every section, but David’s breakdown of how to write an engaging script was so excellently explained. This will sound so weird but I'm being honest. When I'm feeling a bit down, and lonely I just want to come to see a video of this channel. It's because, when I see all the members of this channel talking about things and sharing ideas with each other and it's also in a bit casual way, it reminds me of people I wanna be around all the time which I don't have. It's hard to explain. It's funny, has things to learn and gives a friendly vibe. I'm happy that this channel exists.🖤
