Sade and her band are all top shelf musicians, no compromises. So professionally produced.
I came to see the Queen of jazz,, but was also blown away by that Absolutely buttery sax solo. So raw and refined at the same time. Its like he's become one with the instrument, making it an extension of his passion. EPIC!

I' ve no Idea if it's still her brother or someone who carries HER spirit. I think the second.. Either way they both had something, Her lastsuccess was an American pleasure/ pleaser, but not nearly as good as her baseline. Like Jezebel..

No one compares to Sade. She's one of a kind. She irradiates peaceful class and beauty. Her voice is liquid gold penetrating your ears and caressing your soul. No need to scream as hard as you can, vulgarly dance or be almost fully naked (I'm referring to today's so called divas) to be the best and deeply touch people's heart. Sade is the living proof of that statement. I wish there were many more talented artists like her. But as I initially said she's unique. She's a goddess.

Funny, critics said of Sade when she first came on the scene that she was just a model and studio artist who couldn't sing live because she didn't go on tour immediately diamond life came out. Now look at her, one of the best truly live performers . Very few artists do a full show like Sade.
A dance with the partner of your choice on Sade's music is like dancing in heaven. I'm so glad Iwas a teenager in the 80's. Thank you, Sade.

Sade music is what I would call a true music. A perfection in every note, pure honey for the ears. I was always amazed by her ability to tear your soul apart just with the sounds of her voice, she puts so much emotion into her performances.

Where Helen certainly deserves every compliment known to man on her vocal delivery, charisma, beauty, etc… the “musical” engine that powers it all is Stuart Matthewman and the stars aligned for both of them when they found each other in 1983. I was lucky enough to see this tour live and it is without a doubt the best show I have ever seen.
The more I watch her, the more I miss her. And I can't tell her how much.
The woman is effortless on the mic. Not too many legends like this around today that are this chill. I can think of a few but she is a whole mood.

For me, talking about Sade is about Multicultural jazz music tunes, an extraordinary bitter sweet sensual experiences, contemporary and stunning visualisation (since Smooth Operator music video) . Omg....I love this song, always have always will.... There's an element of sadness in it, based on raw truth. Such is the story of life for many of of us when we give the nutshell, summing it up...I often wondered about that part in the song when questioned about "her dress...." Some questions you don't have to ask. For the ladies: my mom's mom, born and raised in Philadelphia,1906....passed in 2001...She said: Never allow your self to wonder or become jealous of another, for what they have that YOU may want for yourself...She said, you don't really know what they did to get it, or what they're doing to keep it....
Song is about feeling inadequate not measuring up and feeling like jezzabel, a term used back in the day to refer to a woman as less than respectable...and putting on a dress is becoming respectable, like putting on a suit for men etc,,,just my take on the song...jezebel dresses up

It doesn't surprise me that the band only tours every 10 years or so... can you imagine the amount of hard work and effort that goes into producing a show of that sublime quality.... and then to have empty-headed morons shout, scream and whistle all the way through the songs.... especially the quiet, delicate emotional sections.
