In the 70’s -90’s , I was a rocker and a live concert lover, but every time Sade would come to town, I would be there. The groove and vibe she could create on a summer evening, the way she had the crowd in the palm of her hand and the angelic voice was something that cannot be put into words or adequately explained, but I’m just grateful I was part of it.

Saw Sade in concert at Brighton as a young lad in the 80's got to be the best ive been to. Here we are 40 odd years later. She still awesome
I can't get over the way they framed it... with everyone wearing black and white to match the light and the background, down the instruments, and then here she comes in bright red, just this incredible pop of color it makes such a stunning image, like the stage is as much art as the music. So incredible and well done!!

Me too. Her, Aaliyah and Anita Baker are my ultimate favorite female artists. I won't ever be able to see Aaliyah (may she RIP), so I have hope for Sade and Anita 🙏🏾. They are in their 60s now after 3 decades of career, plus they aren't the most publicity seeking type of artists and also I think they enjoy their life outside of the spotlight so I think my hopes of seeing these 2 legends live are getting smaller and smaller but I still have hope.

When I was young, people laughed at my taste in music. Sade is the voice that has been underestimated the most. Now I laugh at the people from back then when I still listen to Sade. At least one song by her every day for over 30 years and I calm down and feel super relaxed. Sade.... THANKS FOR YOUR MUSIC!!
This voice is so unique that there will never be a second time. If you think about it, since the 80' it's been the most soulful jazz voice ever for me. It's a pity that there won't be any more concerts. Sade? All the best to you and please keep making music.....
