One of the stupidest and best decisions I ever made in life was spending that month's rent on a Sade concert ticket since she's last toured! What a rare gem!
Month's rent? Wow. Saw her in concert in '93, ticket price $26.75. Great seats too! Looking back can't believe the price but forever grateful because I wouldn't have been able to afford the cost of my rent. Worth it and more!!!
Sade refused to abandon her musicians when he signed his first contract, as requested by the first label that searched her. It was clearly a good decision.

Beautiful creative♥️💕❤️🌺🍾🍇🌳 and yes very passionate 👍🍷❤️🌹melody and Sade like a very rich wine smooth as silk vocals 🍷🎉🎊🥰with a beautiful range brilliant talent❤
Sade is one of few artists that has a massive following and does not have to advertise or be a puppet to their label. Very rare. Also that guitar solo.
I saw a short documentary about Sade's early career. She was a fashion student in London and started working with Spandau Ballet as a fashion consultant. Then, not long after, a backup singer for an unknown band quit and they asked her if "she could sing". The rest is more or less history.
I took my daughters to see her in Boston in 2011. It was my 3rd time seeing her live. In 1984 I drove in a snowstorm to the Orpheum theater in Boston from WMass. I was beside myself through her whole gig.
U SAID IT, she is on eternally unique, a league on her own, her talent knows no bound, and icing on the cake she is kind, and respectful, and humble. She is simple God's gift to the world. I hope she has a tour in 2017 or 2018, my life wont be complete unless I listen to her live.
She’s not from this world, every time I see her on stage I’m just shaking my head thinking how surreal her Talent is, not just her Voice and the band but also her grace, the way she moves, she just has an halo around her that makes her really special. Just wow
The fact that this woman can wield this type of power after being dormant for so long speaks for itself. She is a true artist who also happens to be very beautiful.
the hard times we are living, make me cry listening to Sade. The most talented black woman who shines always just for her music, voice, and talent. No need to raise any banners! Love you Sade since 85!
The guitarist is like making love to its instrument 🎸 guitar. He's so into it that he even plays with his eyes closed. Sade has the most passionate musical team in the way they perform. That is love for music 🎶. Is it a crime not to love this?
The Sephardi1224 he's in what I like to call The Prince Zone. Nothing else exists in his mind at that moment but his guitar and him. He feels the music with every fiber in his body.
Exactly, he make love but he re live a scène with a woman. Closed eyes, he remember all the scène and the progress Very big talent To expose his intimate moment Just crazy And sade, great respect To let your musicians express their love Thanks so much To you and your band

Well, the first time I saw Sade performing "Is it a crime" was during Live Aid back in 1985. I always thought that Sade was to young to make music like this. Unbelievable that Stuart Matthewman composed a song like this at that age, really amazing. And with this video everything comes together. The band matured and life gave them some scars. This is a great performance and Sade can be named in the list of jazz singers like Billie Holiday, Nina Simone and Ella Fitzgerald. Love it !
The whole setting of this performance. From the point of dropping those red curtains to the end is phenominal. Funny thing is that I lost track of Sade for many years because I was more into the techno scene and due to a remix of Pearls I got interested again. And oh boy, almost 50 years now rediscovered this band. Hope they will come to Holland sometime to perform at the North Sea Jazz festival. Although Sade is not a festival band I'm sure they will do fine there.

Why has it take me so long to discover what is the perfect 'quiet storm' performance?! Wrapped in the in warm silk of Sade's voice which like the sax rips apart with loss and is perfectly counterbalanced by the lyrical piano and then rend again by the guitar supported by isolated, statuesque staging that is melted by sinuous movement. Utter perfection.
She’s great but let’s all take a minute to admire that Sax Player... just WOW!
The Sax Player can put me to bed. Opps! that did not sound right. Actually, it did.
@@Kamila-cb3ms YES!!
