I just purchased this as a sound machine for sleeping, im excited to see how the sunrise alarm gets rid of the jolt iphone alarm. I would get anxiety just thinking of it and it would really disturb my sleep. Awesome review, I just purchased the restore 3 so i wonder what updates they have implemented.

@@frankmilano The One Clock is cool, I just checked it out! Definitely expensive though. Another thing you could do is get a backup power strip to plug the Hatch into. It will always hold a charge in case the power does go out
i’ve had my hatch for less than 48 hours and i love it! the only thing i wish it had was a button to turn on/off the light that way i didn’t have to go to my phone every time i wanted to turn on the reading light
Great review - thanks! Question: Does this have the ability to select a pure RED light, as you would find in a red light sleep therapy device? Or is the closest shade to red that pinky-purple shade shown in your video? TIA
@@sstraw7224 Appreciate it! It definitely has a solid red color, not sure if it’s an exact sleep therapy red, but it has a pretty pure, dark red that can be set
Lol that’s fair. The way I see it is that it’s $170, but it’s something I use every single day. So after a few years, it’s a few pennies per day in lifetime cost. Or maybe that’s just me trying to justify it haha
@@localpizza. lol it will still wake you up with sound and you can make it super loud. The point is that when you do wake up, it’s bright in the room and easier to get up
