And the companions of Allaah's Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم used to buy slaves from slave-owners for the sole purpose of freeing them afterwards. And some of the slaves, became Kings and leaders in Islam, such as Bilal bin Rabaah رضي الله عنه who was black man that was freed by Abu Bakr رضي الله عنه, who then became a Leader. If a Muslim does something wrong, that doesn't mean the religion is wrong due that specific reason. A Muslim may be drinking alcohol or sleeping around, that doesn't mean Islam is wrong, for Islam clearly prohibits those actions. And you can't blame the majority for something which only the minority is responsible for. For example, freeing slaves is a good deed. If someone had already owned a slave (before Islam), he later became Muslim, and if he happened to commit a sin, one of the ways to expiate that sin is by freeing the slave. And the companions of Allaah's Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم used to buy slaves from slave-owners for the sole purpose of freeing them afterwards. And some of the slaves, became Kings and leaders in Islam, such as Bilal bin Rabaah رضي الله عنه who was black man that was freed by Abu Bakr رضي الله عنه, who then became a Leader.
If a Muslim does something wrong, that doesn't mean the religion is wrong due that specific reason. A Muslim may be drinking alcohol or sleeping around, that doesn't mean Islam is wrong, for Islam clearly prohibits those actions. And you can't blame the majority for something which only the minority is responsible for.
