Pappé is wrong about evangelical Christians

Ilan Pappe is a Jewish Israeli Historian, that served in the IDF and he used to be a Zionist.
Then, he became a historian , and wrote books on the history, using IDF and Israeli government documents, and he became pro-Palestine .
How is he "way off" ?
He has the most well informed and most accurate position on the matter.
He has evidence of what is true and what are lies. He's in the best position in the world to sit as judge on the matter.
There is no human being on planet earth that is better (accurately) informed on the topic than Ilan Pappe.
If you disagree with him, then YOU are the one that is "way off".
Ilan Pappe , did research as a proud Jewish Israeli Zionist , and he went though Israeli government documents and IDF documents and interviewed many retired IDF soldiers . And what he learned , (and published for all to see) turned him against Zionism .
Who are you to say that he is " way off " ?
He is by any measure , the MOST CORRECT person, on this topic.

To give Pappé credit, he is at least honest that his works aren’t objective truth but rather his narrative - shown through his one-sided portrayal of history and twisting of facts to fit his ideology. In a November 29th 1999 interview with French newspaper Le Soir, Pappé said:
“Indeed the struggle is about ideology, not about facts, Who knows what facts are? We try to convince as many people as we can that our interpretation of the facts is the correct one, and we do it because of ideological reasons, not because we are truthseekers”.
So who agrees with Pappé? Those who hold the same ideology as him. Those who believe that Israel is an evil entity, guilty of the most heinous crimes and has waged war on an innocent people for practically no reason other than to be evil.
Those who are more objective, care about all historical facts and believe that truth is something that should be pursued, as opposed to making it fit your pre-determined ideology, should read the criticisms on Pappé to understand why he cannot be taken seriously as a credible historian on the issue.

You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to see what’s Israel is doing right now to come to the conclusion that it is a satanic state carrying out heinous war crimes day in day out, ethnic cleansing and the erasure / genocide of the indigenous peoples of Palestine.
If you don’t come to that conclusion given what we can see with our own eyes live-streamed to our phones minute by minute, then maybe your own conscience has left the building.

A wonderful interview of an incredibly
    knowledgeable and insightful historian
of Israel and the Middle East! Professor
Pappe has a depth of understanding
about Israel and Palestine that few others
possess. It is tragic that no one in the
Israeli government has the depth of
    understanding about these critically
    important matters, that Ilan Pappe
clearly does. I suspect that Ilan’s
analysis of where things are going ,
is on point, but in the interim ,
    countless thousands of Palestinians
    will continue to suffer unimaginable
hardships and sacrifices , and many
will pay with their lives, due to the
    inhumane and brutal treatment being
dealt them by their Israeli occupiers.
It is incomprehensible that the West
stays silent as this ongoing genocide
    and mass extermination proceeds
forward, and only due to the West’s
    facilitating the perpetuation of this
    horrific nightmare!
Thank you for inviting Ilan Pappe on
to your wonderful podcast as a guest.
His knowledge, and keen insights about
what is going on in Palestine, has helped
to significantly inform and enlighten us all
about the current situation in the Middle
East. Thank you for giving Ilan the
opportunity to share his ideas with all
    of us!

'There has never been a land known as Palestine governed by Palestinians. Palestinians are Arabs indistinguishable from Jordanians (another recent invention), Syrians, Iraqis etc. Keep in mind that the Arabs control 99.9 per cent of the Middle East lands. Israel represents one tenth of one per cent. But that is too much for the Arabs. They want it all. And that is ultimately what the fighting in Israel is about today...no matter how many land concessions the Israelis make, it will never be enough''. (Arab writer and historian Joseph Farah in his book Myths of the Middle East October 2000.)
"Such a creature as Palestine does not exist at all." (Ahmad Shukan , Saudi Ambassador to the UN, 1956)
If Palestine were an Arab state, at any point in recorded history, why was there no mention of them? Because there never was an Arab Palestinian nation, nor any nation called Palestine, ever!
In 1964 Yasser Arafat visited Moscow, USSR. While there, the Soviet KGB (secret service) developed a strategy for him. Arafat would be the leader of a new organization named PLO, Palestinian liberation organization. The KGB recommended that the Arabs create a new identity for themselves that would be called Palestinian.
So where are the geographical roots of the so called Palestinians???????
Hamas Minister of the Interior and of National Security Fathi Hammad, aired by Al-Hekma TV on March 23, 2012. Stated..........we all have Arab roots, and every Palestinian, in Gaza and throughout Palestine, can prove his Arab roots - whether from Saudi Arabia, from Yemen, or anywhere. We have blood ties. Personally, half my family is Egyptian. We are all like that. More than 30 families in the Gaza Strip are called Al-Masri ["Egyptian"]. Brothers, half of the Palestinians are Egyptians and the other half are Saudis. Who are the Palestinians? We have many families called Al-Masri, whose roots are Egyptian. Egyptian! They may be from Alexandria, from Cairo, from Dumietta, from the North, from Aswan, from Upper Egypt. We are Egyptians.
The so called Palestinians are not even from the region known as Palestine!!!!!!
Salma Fayumi, a resident of Kafr Qasim (Palestin/Israel) confirms Fathi Hammad above statements
Salma Fayumi, a resident of Kafr Qasim (Palestin/Israel),spoke on the show "Master Chef." Fayumi proudly showed off her Kushari dish that she prepared, "Egyptian cuisine made of rice and lentil." "My family came from Egypt, from Faiyum, and I am Salma Fayumi from Faiyum," the cook from Kafr Qasim said.

I have a first hand account of my great great great gradad who was one of the first settlers of New Zealand in 1840, written in his own hand. It chronicles his struggles with the Maori's who turned up on the land he'd been promised back in London to settle. He describes a fight he had with a couple of Maori's with hatchets ,which he came out on top, with about 500 locals looking on. The fight ended with the two Maori's running off, knowing they'd be hunted down by the colonial authorities. The rest gave up on reclaiming their land and dissappeared into the bush.. At first saw this account as a victory for civilisation against the savages, now I'm seeing it in a totally different light.. At the same time I look at it from his own point of view, back in the day and it really was a struggle of the enlightened from his eyes.. Interestingly he went on to have good relations with th Maori, hunting etc with them but no thought to what he taken from them.. I guess this is largely how the Israeli's look at the Palestinians. They're surplus to requirements so they should just go away..

Let’s be honest for once. Jewish pioneers were coming to Pls were not under European threats at all. They were the source of the threats. They even were not getting along with the existing Pls jews either. No intermarriage, not living in the same neighborhood, separate business.
They were Europeans and Russians opposition groups who wanted to have their own sets of rules. Not Europeans, not Arabs, not Judaism, not Christians, but taking something from each. They were Living like separatists enforced by militia.
That is why they couldn’t integrate to any society even by now unless they are dispersed among other nations.
That is what Hetzl told you in his book. We don’t get along with anyone even ourselves.

Thank you so much for this refreshing conversation on such a painful subject. It was fascinating, as is every interview with Ilan Pape, but also a much gentler experience than those clashing conversations when everyone speaks at once and competes to have the microphone and insists on their view being the right view. Of course, the ‘right view’ was agreed upon here, but without sensationalism, triumphalistic crowing. Instead there was compassion, where it was due, an acknowledgement of both sides, backed by an in-depth knowledge of what has led us to this point. Thank you from my heart.

"There is no such thing as Palestine in history, absolutely not." -- Arab Princeton Professor, Philip Hitti, before the Anglo-American Committee of Inquiry in Jerusalem in 1946.
In 1937, Secretary of the Arab Higher Committee to the British Peel Commission, Awni Abd al-Hadi stated: “There is no such country as Palestine. ‘Palestine’ is a term the Zionists invented.”
"We [Palestinians] were never an independent state in history, we were part of an Arab state and an Islamic state.” -- Palestinian Hamas Foreign Minister Mahmoud Zahhar (quoted in The Economist, February 2, 2008)
"Never forget this one point: There is no such thing as a Palestinian people, there is no Palestinian entity, there is only Syria. You are an integral part of the Syrian people, Palestine is an integral part of Syria." Syrian President Hafez al-Assad [Addressing the Chairman of the Palestine Liberation Organization Yasser Arafat during a meeting with leaders of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) in 1976]
Zahir Muhsein was a Palestinian leader of the pro-Syria As-Sa'iqa Ba'athist faction of the Palestine Liberation Organization between 1971 and 1979.
In an interview with Trouw Magazine, 31. March 1977 he stated....."The Palestinian people do not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Yes, the existence of a separate Palestinian identity exists only for tactical reasons. The establishment of a Palestinian state is a new tool to continue the fight against Israel and for Arab unity.........................................................
