Been wanting to do this run for a while but was trying to work up the courage because it was unreasonably challenging. Obviously this could be improved upon by a lot, but I don't know who would want to put in the effort to try and beat it. I watched this whole video. I used to love the hang glider theme in this game. Now it sounds like torture. Same with the cannon theme! Lol

Dude 10 hrs is insane over the last dude who had 21, i really wanted to go for a perfect game but the photo level with nessie the boat and the rocket ship really hung me up
Lol yeah that single level took me over 3 hours to do in this run. I thoroughly enjoyed doing this speedrun, but yeah the bullshit is high with this game.

I wouldn't recommend going for a perfect in one go, it's a pain in the ass.

I done shutter bug 3 today and it took me about 4 hours. I had the SAME thing happen when’re I got a perfect set of photos and botched the landing. I really felt your pain in that moment lol.

i have this game PAL version , and have ALLS 100% ( except 2 levels with photo semi -- impossible )
Incredibly difficult.
9:00 I didn't try to optimize the time because no one else put up a video of them doing it, so I win by default, regardless of what time I get. And I see why no one tried to do it before, so hard and long.
The big thing I'm going for now is beating every North American N64 game (296) on the authentic hardware, so I won't spend too much time on any one game, I gotta move on. TheMexicanRunner got the record for beating every NES games, so I'm going for every NA N64 games.

22:01 Nearly impossible, I'd say so too. Only you & me are the only ones with video proof of beating this game with all perfects. (Another guy said he did it once, but he had no video proof.)

I got another win by default run, it's Winback done on Hard Any% Glitchless. The category isn't there though, I have no Idea who to go to, to request that category be put up. I sent a message to the moderator, and am waiting a response; maybe you know where to request to add a category?
Wayne Gretzky's 3D is also another win by default, but that game isn't even on speedrun dot com, looks like I gotta be the moderator for it if I make the request to add the game.
With me going through all the NA N64 games, looks like I'm gonna lead the way on being the 1st person to put a record on a lot of these games.
Hey I'm glad you checked out my run! Yeah I've also been trying to play through all n64 games, I played through Pilotwings and got all golds, but felt that I should probably get all perfects to really feel like I completed the game. In general I'm a speedrunner, so seeing your run really gave me the motivation to give it shot, on top of the fact that there are literally no other videos of people actually getting perfects on every level.
Perfecting the game is a major accomplishment for us both lol. I'm excited to see what other games you speedrun.
So as far as requesting categories go, they have to be done by the moderator of the game, I just looked it up and it said the mod was last online 6 hours ago, so the fact that hes active is a good sign, chances are he'll add whatever you ask as long as he's a decent moderator.
When it comes to adding games on speedrun you either need to ask the moderator from a series to add the game, or request a game from the speedrun website staff. WG 3D wouldn't fall under a series so you'll have to request a game from speedrun staff, but thats really easy, just go to the games tab and in the top right you'll see a button that says "request game", here's a link to the page as well: www.speedrun.com/requestgame?series=
Adding a game automatically makes you the mod for it, I created the page for Transformers: Beast Wars for the n64 so that I could do a speedrun for that. Creating the page is a little tricky, but nothing that can't be figured out. I'm excited to see you play Beast Wars lol, its a train wreck of a game.

I'm not much of a speedrunner, I'll throw a video up at the site if I do get a fast time on a game.
I got in contact with the guy who moderates the Winback speedruns, he says he's not gonna put the category up until there are more people running it (which is counter-intuitive; if there is no category up, then people won't attempt the run).
It's gonna be a while before I get to Beast Wars, that's gonna be an expensive one to get with the manual.

It's a glitch in the japanese version of the game, for whatever reason if you run out of fuel and then crash it automatically gives you a perfect score. Which is great because those ball levels suck
