Short, to the point, with torque specs, a good view of each step, and actually doing things the right way. This is the gold standard of vehicle repair videos.
Thank you for the video, clear, straight forward instructions. I replaced the hub on a 2007 escalade and instructions were spot on. Some tough bolts to break free, but the hub wouldn't budge. I hit it on the one back side with a hammer, nothing. I then pulled the sledge out and a couple firm hits and it broke free. Everything went together fine. We had the passenger hub replaced by a shop and it was over $700, About a hour to hour and a half work, $200.00, done!
First time viewer and this is by far one the best DIY video for laypersons as it relates to auto repair. No extra ad libs or music. Just simple and straight to the point. Camera angles were excellent too! Good job fellas!
As acting mayor . Im saying you guys are top tier For the how to videos. You guys are like HAYNES, Chilton, motor, Mitchell car MANUALs all in one socket set.
To the crew @ TRQ i am so grateful i found you. Your how to videos are on point. Clear. And easy to follow. I have recommended TRQ to everyone I know. We currently have 1 2009 Cadillac Escalade Hybrid. And 2 Cadillac CTS-V’s. 1st & 2nd generations. We thank you for all of your help. 🛠️🪛🛞🛞🖤❤️💛
You guys do great videos but I must say I’ve never had a wheel bearing assembly come out that easy I always have to beat the crap out of them they use a lot of salt on these roads
I’m not sure what part of the country you live in but I live up here in the Northeast the New Hampshire area were they use a lot of salt on the roads and I’ve never seen a bearings assembly come out that easy I always end up using a lot of PB blaster big hammers and chisels to get the thing out but again they use lotta salt on these roads and things rust up pretty bad here
Excellent demonstration thank you. Is it not advised to use an impact wrench to break free the hub assembly and caliper bracket bolts? I'll be doing this job on jackstands and may not have the leverage for a big breaker bar.

Thank you!!!! I just saved a ton of money, bought the part and replaced both.
It was an easy job, thanks to the helpful video. A bit more hammering to get my hub off, but it was expected after 240K miles. Thanks!

Thanks guys for how to videos
Great video
I'm looking to do this at home with just a jack, is it possible? Also would you believe that I would have enough leverage ?
You should. I've done it quite a few times like that.

Hey! I need the front dist shield for the hub and brakes! Do you have a link?
Great video!
fyi for the 2wd hubs, you won't have an axle nut to remove, this is for the all wheel drive models
Love this thank u
144lb ft torque? In my day you know how many lbs we used? Until we couldn’t twist it anymore
thats why you go through wheel bearings alot more. too tight messes up the bearing
Excellent demonstration thank you. Is it not advised to use an impact wrench to break free the hub assembly and caliper bracket bolts?
I'll be doing this job on jackstands and may not have the leverage for a big breaker bar.
In my experience, you can almost never get an impact on the hub assembly or caliper bracket bolts, there isn't enough room.
Would this be the same procedure for a REAR wheel bearing replacement on a 2016 Escalade ESV?
Yeah but what if the wheel bearing broke in half and now the other half is stuck in the Knuckle.
