Excellent tutorial. Performed this operation on an '08 Yukon Denali XL nearly two years ago. I'd saved the back end for last after completely rebuilding the front suspension plus the axles since we were in there. The chain repair shop's estimate was out of the ballpark. Even with the purchase of all of the components and a couple of specialized tools (36mm socket for the front wheel bearings) I saved more than half of the projected cost. My stepson helped me greatly. He had the garage tied up with two of his projects (which are _still_ in there) so he wanted to assist me to offset the garage being unavailable. We were out there at the end of December 2019 through early-January 2020. Coldest weather of the year. Took our time because on some days it was too cold to be outside past 3 PM.
Hi I bought these shocks and there great but I got a problem after replacing them I got the abs ,stabiltrak and traction control lights on what would cause it and how do I fix it
I’ve done all this now I have a very hard ride... it’s like the air shocks are stuck all the way up, there no bounce or smooth ride it’s a hard bumpy ride... what caused that... thank
+Yup • 95 years ago This procedure might be different for your application. We do not currently have a how-to video for this particular year, make and model. Thank you for asking! 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
I’m not worried about the mechanical part, it’s the technical part that I need help understanding. Do you have to use a scan tool to program something first?
+jnd423 I have attached a link to the parts we have available for your vehicle: www.1aauto.com/search?q=air+shock&year=2011&model=772&searchQuery=air+shock
