Milestar recommends running stock tires pressures on the road for their Milestar Patagonias. So for a Jeep that is 35 psi. If you run it at 25 on the highway, you are going to end up with uneven wear even with rotating the tires every 3-3.5k miles. The reason is it is a domed tire, designed to run on the center treads (mainly) when on the highway. If you run it at 25 psi, you are forcing the domed tire to run like a flat-tread tire. This pushes the rubber and treads into bearing weigh and road mileage in a way it is not designed to. I have these tires (about 9k on mine) and they are wearing perfectly evenly and look like they are going to last around 40-45k miles. I bought them hoping for 35k. You can check with Milestar and they will tell you the same thing. Milestar actually contacted LiteBrite because LiteBrite was running too low a tire pressure and warned them. LiteBrite made an excellent video regarding this.

I liked these Milestar Patagonia 37s so well on my 2016 Powerwagon, pulling heavy 4,800 lb dump trailer with 8,300 lb excavator, that i put 265 85 16s on my 2002 f150 and man i just love them. Bummer is that the prices are already inching up since i bought my 2 sets.

Here's my response: I'm running a 2.5" Teraflex suspension lift and my overall height w/hardtop on is 74 1/4". My garage door is 83" so based on your setup and garage door height I would imagine you'd still have a few inches to spare if you decided to run these 37s! All the best.
Milestar says on their Jeep Facebook page that you have to run OEM psi to prevent irregular wear. You're going to possibly get lug chop by running 25 psi.
I'm also running 30 psi on my 38s. I was running 34 psi, but the kinetic energy led to a bouncing sensation - especially at hwy speeds that didn't feel safe. I'm lifted 4.5" rear and 6.0" front using an EVO lift and Daystar coil correction pads on my JT Rubicon. Keep up the good work.
I only see the 37's with RAISED WHITE LETTERING. Do these have a reverse side with black lettering? Or did you get an older version of this tire? Thanks in advance for your time.
DYAUS Mine have white lettering on one side (the inside) I’m guessing they all come with both a black and white lettering side so you can choose which you prefer.
What should I run my 33s on 20in rims at for psi. My factory were a hair smaller and called for 40psi. This is my first time getting a mud tire so just want the smoothest ride I can and what is the best pattern to rotate them
Chelsea Hunt Good questions. For that tire/wheel size I’d stay pretty close to factory PSI. I’ve tried a few different PSIs on mine and I actually think I ran them too low at first because I’ve developed some uneven tread wear. I’d start within 5psi of factory and adjust from there as needed. For rotation: if you google “5 tire rotation Morris Jeep” there’s a picture of a blue wrangler with red arrows showing where each tire goes in rotation. That’s the picture I use. Take care!

About 20k on them now and they aren’t wearing in very even. Still relatively quiet on road and perform well off but coming up to stops they are rough on road. Not sure if this was due to me trying different PSIs early on trying to find the “sweet spot” (33psi btw) or the fault of the tire. We’ll see how they hold up from here. About 40% tread left.
Does it matter which way the tires are mounted? I just installed my set and they sound a loud at 65-70mph. Thinking maybe i installed them the wrong way. What do you think? Side walls are different inside and out. Mine are installed opposite of yours
drazza94 Hey, these are non-directional and also do not have a “this side out” marking so you should be fine with either side out (white or black letter). What PSI are you running and have you had the vehicle aligned lately?
4XTRAIL my 2020 ram rebel calls for 55psi front and 45psi in the rear. Im running them a bit higher at 63 front and 53 rear as im trying to target the center rib while driving. Do you think i need more air maybe to force them to ride more on the center and less on the sides?
@@drazza94 Are they factory size or larger? That PSI seems very high. The larger the tire you run the lower PSI you need. I'm running my 37s at 25PSI on the road and 15PSI for off-road use.
That’s not a lot bigger than factory but I would try around 35psi for on road. Anytime you go up in size the factory numbers are no longer relevant. Factory psi numbers are for factory sizes only. At least in my experience! Hopefully that helps!

No, they are really BAD on wet pavement traction as are nearly all crown riding tires. Ugh, how much did Patagonia pay you to say, "but more impressively wet pavement the traction is equally good, it is really, really impressive." I have these on my 2018 JLU and they are really bad on wet as says everyone else. You even said they were equally as good as dry pavement. You are going to cause someone to have an accident with that level of bad information.

To suggest someone would be in danger after watching this video is a little far-fetched. This was my honest, unsponsored review of tires that I purchased myself. This was just an initial review which, as many know, is not as thorough as a long-term review. I run Dynapro MT2's on my Jeep Wrangler JL. I was almost gonna get the Milestar tires but so far those 33's I have on it do really well in the snow in Montana and yes, its a daily driver and my off roader.

Where did you purchase these? And I run a 33x12.50x17 can't seem to find that size. But find a 305/70/17 on the wal mart site and about every other place.. your thoughts on the sizes and if so address to where you purchased them.. thanks
Hey vgrottweilers.com, great question. I know these come in a variety of sizes and the 305/70/17 should be pretty close to 33x12.5. Tiresize.com is helpful for figuring out tire sizes/labeling. I purchased my Patagonias from northridge4x4.com and they were great to work with. Note that these also come in a "black label" version which are for off-road use only and much more expensive. They look nearly identical, I believe just the tire compound is different.
Hey Ethan! I'm running Procomp Series 69 wheels in a 17x9. I bedlined them because I wasn't a fan of the factory finish but otherwise I love them. I need to do a proper review of them because they are a great value IMO. I will say when I jumped to 37s even though these wheels have a decent offset, my front tires rubbed very slightly on my frame at full lock so I am currently running Teraflex 1.25" wheel adapters.
Mine lasted 25k before they were too unevenly worn to be daily driven. That’s due to me not running high enough psi though, if you run 36-38psi these should be good for 40k miles I’d guess? Working on a full review video of these tires soon.
Psychopath96 yeah I just remeasured and they’re actually 35 3/4” hey that extra quarter inch means something! The rear measures closer to 36” probably because of the weight distribution of the vehicle. Hope that helps!
4XTRAIL yea tires always compress with the curb weight of the vehicle so you may lose an inch or so depending on the weight of the vehicle , the 40s I’ve researched a lot say that they are 82.5 lbs which are much more lighter than my nitto mud grapplers which are 100 lbs seems the compound on the Milestar are lighter

4XTRAIL factory size was 33x12 im running 34x12.5 now. And thats what the rebels calls for as far as tire pressure goes. 55 front 45 rear

I’m running 4:88s and I don’t drive on the highway every day but from what I recall I turn around 3k rpm @ 70 🤙🏼

Custom offset is where I ordered mine. For 35s I paid like 850$

A. Fard Thanks! The flares are just the factory ones that I trimmed w/a dremel and added adhesive door trim to the edge so it looks “finished”.
