Thank you so much for this tutorial. I managed to create a 5th birthday topper for my son🙌🏾🙌🏾. I used images from Design space as we in the don't have Disney. Thank you again🙏🏾🙏🏾
Hello! I actually never change my cut settings. I always just cut on cardstock setting for everything. The cardstock that I use (and also sell) is super buttery soft so it's a breeze to cut and only takes 1 pass.
@@ashleefalco ok thank you I will try this if you have time can you do one with just a phrase like happy birthday or something simple for a beginner like myself
I am always confused about making anything disney because of licensing and such do you happen to have a previous video or post thats touches on the dos and donts?
I don’t. Copyright/trademark stuff is a real touchy subject. And I like to stay away from talking about those. I’d suggest doing your own research and speaking with an attorney if you’re that serious about it
Hi Ashlee Which glue is best to use? I noticed sometimes when I glue pieces on top of each other then either the paper or the cards rock gets bubbles or wrinkles up... What am I doing wrong
Hello! Sounds like you’re using way too much glue. Having a precision tip is key when working with cardstock so you don’t over glue. Remember a little glue goes a long way. The stuff I’m going to link for you is a strong bond glue, so you don’t need a to. Below is my favorite glue - make sure to use 15Falco for 15% off. supertite.myshopify.com/collections/all-products/products/ref-1113-precision-craft-glue-60g-1-91fl-oz?aff=23
So when people message you asking for a different size cake topper do you keep your price the same or do you adjust the price for a bigger or smaller topper?
Lol also I just killed both my light mats. After cutting 50 pages of glitter cardstock. Their stickyness is not so good anymore and I washed them inbetween cutting the glitter as I had to. They were both new mats lol
Is there a glueing hack to make the process faster? I'm using small paintbrush and glue to glue my small pieces for my cake topper. I have 50 toppers to do. I'm sure there's a hack

Well, it depends on the size change. if we're talking a half an inch, no. But if they're wanting it a few inches in either direction, yes I do.
Lol also I just killed both my light mats. After cutting 50 pages of glitter cardstock. Their stickyness is not so good anymore and I washed them inbetween cutting the glitter as I had to. They were both new mats lol
mats go bad so quickly. totally suggest resticking them.
