@@ashleefalco lol not yet...turned out my day off wasn't exactly "my" day off.🤣🤣 I did start working on some graduation shaker cards so fingers crossed they work out 🤣🤞
Followed your tutorial and so impressed with how mine turned out (chickened out on the glitter) 🤣 I watched so many before hand and couldn’t get my head around it! But yours has finally made it make sense to me!
Same you sound like me I chickened out on glitter too I’m here for my 1 year old ❤❤ but I’m going to up cycle next time mommy try your hand at it! If we can carry and birth children we can do anything lol 😂
awe! Thank you so much! This actually makes me so happy to hear! When I first started this channel I doubted I had the ability to teach. so comments like these give me the confidence I need
Thanks so much for taking the time to make and share this tutorial. Very detailed and concise! My challenge is I cannot seem to find the mickey image in cricut access. 0 search results show up when I try searching for it in images. Having difficulty using other svg files downloaded from the net. Please let me know what can do. Thanks so much
Hello! The image number for the Mickey is #M3C3AF ... put that number in the search field (where you'd search up any other image) it should formulate for you.
Hi Carla! Currently I buy my plain cardstock on amazon. however! I will be launching my own plain cardstock line in my glitter cardstock shop! (sometime in July) I'll have a huge variety of colors & it'll be 67lb
This is an amazing tutorial! Thank you so much. I can't seem to find the answer to this problem though: I'm making a minnie mouse cake topper - I want to print and cut the minnie image as it's quite complex and i'm too lazy to stick on all the individual pieces hahah. Is there a way to do print then cut for minnie and weld the bits together? The weld option is grayed out once I flatten minnie even though the other layers are still there. THanks :)
Hi Claire! Select the entire Minnie - the large back piece and all the small little pieces and select "flatten" - when you go to the cut screen it should all cutout in 1 full piece.
If I'm doing something that's super small/intricate I always but the pressure on my machine down. If it doesn't cut through the first time, I press the C (cut) button again and have the machine cut it again. I keep doing this until it cuts through the paper. But this does help with tear/snagging.
Thanks for all your help I was struggling with the shakers you helped me out a lot have a wonderful day ❤😊
I'm so glad I was able to be of help! -Ashlee

What acetate did you use?
I don't use acetate LOL I use the plastic liners that come with your cricut mat or clear transparency sheets.
Thank you for the excellent tutorial. How did you get the lines on Mickey that indicate where to put the pieces like the hands, etc? That seems handy!
