    Hi Lynz. Thanks so much, really useful. Just bought my first Cricut Maker 3, so a real newbie. I would love to see more videos combining Sugarcraft and Cricut - perhaps edible cake toppers? Thank you

    It looks like so much work but we'll worth it. It looks like it gets easier with practice. And must be so much cheaper than purchasing a homemade topper. Especially one as beautifully detailed as yours. Love that it has so many wonderful options available. And the different colors and designs are amazing. If I get a Cricit can I call you with any questions? 😆 lol. Thank you for sharing and keep on caking 💜

      Hi Lorraine, It definitely gets a lot easier with practice and I'm explaining as I go, and breaking it into smaller parts, so it's a lot quicker when you just make all the pieces. I'm so happy you like the topper and there are so many options, the possibilities are endless. If you get a Cricut I'm always here, any questions ask away and I will definitely try and help if I can x x

    I would love to see more cake topper videos using the cricut air2. I haven't purchased the maker 3 yet, but I plan to purchase it in 2023.

    You made this much more time consuming and more expensive then it needed to be. Far too many steps. You could have designed the entire topper in one step and then moved onto create. You don’t need to keep returning to DS. The products you’ve used are very expensive and there is much better value materials available in b&m, home bargains, hobby craft and the range etc. Using expensive holographic vinyls for cake toppers is unnecessary as holographic card stock is much easier and cheaper to use. Keep it simple and cheap for new users of cricut. You’ve only used these products as you have been paid by them to show them.

      Everyone is entitled to their opinion but It clearly states on the video that it is a paid partnership with cricut. So if you had a problem with it, why watch? She explained very well on how to use the various cricut products to make the topper. Judging by all the negative comments you leave on her channel suggests maybe her videos are not for you, so why watch her content? Just saying, no need for running someone's work down. Thought it was a great video & appreciated the step by step.

      Doesn’t matter what type of materials she decided to use. At the end of the day these video are meant for inspiration. No need to demand what she should do… let her do her thing and you do you !

    Can u used a cricut maker 2

    • @CakesbyLynz
      @CakesbyLynz  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes definitely, the design space and how you create the topper would be exactly the same for any of the Cricut machines, the only difference would be the materials they cut but I'm sure they all cut the paper, card, vinyl etc. It might just be that you can't cut the wood on some of the machines, but you can use the foam tape as I mentioned instead.

    Looks a great tool for making toppers. Is it expensive, do you need a lot of different materials and are they easily accessible? Thanks

    • @CakesbyLynz
      @CakesbyLynz  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Margot, It definitely is. Cricut have a range of different cutting machines, each at different price points. Each one can cut a variety of materials. Here is a link to their website for all the details on each of their machines: www.cricut.com Cricut UK Blog: officialcricutblog.co.uk
      In regards to materials, you could just use card to create toppers but you can also use vinyl, glitter cards, paper, fabric etc. The machine I'm using cuts over 300 different materials. In regards to how easy they are to get, you can get materials from Cricut themselves, Amazon, or local craft stores.
