We swam with Manatees in Crystal River & took an Airboat ride in Homosassa using River Ventures

- So this is a highlight video of our amazing adventure using River Ventures & River Safaris in Crystal River as well as Homosassa Florida...our VLOG of the whole experience is coming soon. However we loved the whole thing so much we decided to make this video so other people can get an idea of what to expect when booking with them.
This was an adventure of a lifetime. We started off by swimming with Manatees and we saw dozens of them from huge adults to nursing calves. We had such a great time doing this. River Ventures provided us with all the equipment necessary from high quality wetsuit to snorkel gear all included in the price. After the manatee swim we wanted to do the Airboat ride through the Homosassa River and all I can describe it as was like a race car on the water. The driver was amazing and the experience was unlike any other. We had such an amazing time doing these experiences we are already planning our next trip using this company. We have nothing but great things to say about them and if you plan on going to this city definitely consider booking with them (link below). If you have ever wanted a once in a lifetime experience then definitely go swim with manatees, this is the Manatee Capital of the World...for real...and you cannot get this experience anywhere else and trust me on this....while you're there do the Airboat ride...you won't regret it. We swam with Manatees in August and it was amazing. My nephews are still talking about it. Can't wait to come back and hopefully in the winter months to see more.
What an experience right?! We were not expecting to see so many that early in the season but they were everywhere. They were so gentle and just swam around being curious and playful. We want to go back and do it again as well. Thanks for watching.

Looks great! Didn’t even know you could swim with Manatees. I will have to add this to my list the next time I’m down in Florida and book with them. I’ve always just done the Dolphin swims. Great video.

Trust me it is well worth it! Crystal river area has a lot to offer, tons of Parks with views of the springs and kayaking on rainbow river, however the manatee tour with River Venture was the highlight of the trip. Close second was the airboat ride that was an adrenaline rush and also we saw a bunch of dolphins once we slowed down and went for the scenic ride.
