Back when i was consistently doing the exercises and working out every day I did see a difference in my waist ratio. I had a little bit of a smaller waist it wasn't super tiny but i could see it becoming more defined/prominent. But once I stopped so did the results, so its hard for me to give you an actual time frame. So I know that really isn't much help but if you keep doing as least one of these exercises daily or once a week you'll definitely see results.
For those wondering, the corset is NOT necessary. The one Cassey has on is just a cute accessory- she wouldn't be able to move like that in a real, steel-boned corset ;) So, train on, whether in tank top or (plastic-boned) corset!
I love this workout. I've incorporated it into my routine. Most people don't understand that working the transverse abdominus will give them a slimmer looking midsection by packing everything together. Plank exercises are my favorite way to do this. I don't have a gym membership, if I did I might do leg raises in a captain's chair... not many though, I find it hard on my shoulders, elbows, and I can't help but put a 'swing' in it. (its just so much easier when you swing)

This workout did not target the back muscles enough to effectively engage the whole section of core about the waist. For those interested in toning this set of muscles, I advise doing a more full core workout. However, it did cover the oblique sections well.
I am, similarly to many people here as I'm guessing, only thirteen. I don't have a corset but I have one of those wide waist belts made out of a rubbery type material (it starts with an 'n' but I forgot the full name). I've found that it really helps you sculpt your waist, as you sweat A LOT in it. I even notice a difference the next day if I didn't use it the night before.

i would think so. they do enough work just holding you up. running tones them without the blocking up effect. in fact, ab work is not that necessary in terms of getting a smaller midsection. cardio and strength training ftw.

Only if it's a corset designed for movement and extra support and not a steel boned one designed for true waist cinching. Even back in the day when corsets were very popular, people who were out moving and farming wore one that was more like a nice supportive work out top. Back then they didn't have bras like we have today so a corset (kinda like the one she has on in the vid) was the closest thing to a sports bra.
You can, but it's best to focus on a body part every other day, i.e. abs and arms on Mon, Wed, & Fri-- then back and butt on Tue, Thu, and Sat. This gives muscles a rest so they can give 110% every time you focus on them, in a workout.
Thanks for the info. Although, I have been doing this workout everyday for the last 3 days, I modified it to fit my needs. For example, I will do the first excecise and then focus on my abdominals by doing grasshopers, etc. I do light weight training every other day and do cardio at least 20 to 30 min twice a day. targeting the obliques will build them up and reducing the "cinched in" effect of a small waist. avoid over working your obliques.
