after watching this video and the previouse video covering this, I noticed you mentioned the buff feeling lucky, but never really went into detail about it and how you get it. So Ill explain it here for those that are curious. The buff mentioned in the video is called Feeling lucky. It can be gotten by spinning at the smugglers casino machine or by drinking from the well. What it does is increases your chances at winning in the kingpin machine and when you do wine an item such as an emperors coin, certificate or cartel certificate, it will go away. Also the buff lasts for two minutes
Does smugglers luck work with emperors spins aswell?

@@harrisongran8012 idk if they've ever released hard statistics for any of the mechanisms with this event but the buff specifically is infamously terrible. It wouldn't surprise me if it was 5% or lower, a lot of people in nar shaddaa gen chat could corroborate that.
The new armor from Golden Certificate vendors looks like it's coming straight from cyberpunk and I love it.

And dont forget to /thank the hutt owner of the casino event sins the casino is really only open if he wants it opend. Yes its a ingame event but still. I always use /thank on the hutt owner because i wnat to. I guess its rp idk, dont rp but i like to thank the hutt owner when im done gambling. But the high stakes gambling makes sense when it comes to gambling and its a hutt that owns it so it makes more sense.
The last time I played the nightlife event, the smuggler machines would payout Kingpins at around 15-20% of what you put in. So 100 Smuggler tokens got you 15-20 Kingpins. Unless it was changed, the Smuggler machines can also reward you a double return on your Smuggler token bet, so you get 2 back instead of 1. I luckily got the "Quality Control" achievement in the very first season of the Nightlife event.
I remember playing these for hours to eventually get the Rancor mount. Not been in the game for a few years now though.
Here’s a good strategy I’ve found for getting a bunch of cartel and gold certs plus quite a few chances at emperors.
First you need the vip pass 1 million credits isn’t that much these days. If you have the collector’s edition of the game even better you get automatic access.
Step 1: buy as much smugglers tokens. The cheapest ones and a few max bet kingpin all with credits just to get you started.
Step 2: play smugglers machines until you get the feeling lucky buff every time.
Step 3: every time you get the buff go to the max bounty kingpin machines and play those until you lose the buff by either winning or it running out.
Step 4: by this point you should have a few emperor tokens. Use them. The buff does not apply to this machine. A lot of the time the emperor machine will reward 50 kingpin tokens that you’re gonna use to keep farming
Step 5: repeat step 2 and 3. If you’re out of max bounty kingpin tokens then do regular kingpin machines
Step 6: by doing all this eventually you’ll have around 300 kingpin tokens. At that point go and buy 10 max bounty tokens for 20 kingpin each.
Step 7: repeat from step 2 the max bounty kingpin will give you 15 regular kingpin back a lot of the time and a better chance at winning emperor tokens so every time you get 15 back you can see it as you invested 5 kingpin for a higher chance at an emperor token
By using this strategy you’ll spend some credits to start you off and then enter a loop that will reward you a bunch of certificates of both kinds in the process and a lot of chances at the emperor machine

my first thought on hearing the price for the big token is 'oh yay, i won't be able to interact with it.' on hearing there are other ways to get tokens for free my thoughts are 'oh yay, i still won't be able to interact with it,' because my personal rng when it comes to games is abysmal.

Spent 7 accumulated Emp chips last night. Got the glasses, MANY free qty1 Emp Chip re-rolls, 4 groups of qty25 Mid range chips. Still haven't spent all of the Mid range chip yet. But out of 50 or so Mid range chips I got the Rodian and another Emp chip and a small # of each Cert.
You didn't mention the luck buffs....I play the low ones till buff, then the middle ones while buffed. You can drink before emperor play to get a buff for those.
She did mention the buff, but did not go into any great detail. The buff is not exactly a great bonus, just cuts a FREE CHIP chance to get a Cartel Market Certificate.
Prepare to suffer Heather. As I've suffered.

I used to love this event when I played, was so much fun (if as you suggested you set yourself limits lol). Haven't played since my home setup went 4k home theatre mode though - game looked amazing but with no game support for 4k I could never see my mouse pointer lol. Hand injuries mean I was relegated years ago to point & click play so keybinding doesn't help, which sadly was the end of high level content too (speed & dexterity suffered with the injury). Still loved the game and am thinking of returning, but not if the same problems are there for me.

Hello. I have a problem, and unfortunately I can't solve it myself. After a few months I decided to return to SWTOR, I downloaded the game installer from my account (not steam, but from the SWTOR website). I installed it and what do I see? The luncher does not turn on at all. I used all the methods from your site about SWTOR and unfortunately nothing. Please help :( :( :(. Regards :)

Have had problem with the multipart mission where you don't get the mini ability bar and have to reset. Lose completion of the two (singing and dancing) and cannot repeat them.
Maybe should not have abandoned it??

Thanks for the guide, wasn't expecting to see new stuff this year. Nice to see more credit sinks in the game. My strategy for doing the event without spending a single credit, play the game normally, earn emperor chips, which will most likely give out king pin chips, and use those to earn more emperor chips, and the cycle is pretty endless from there.
Do you get underworld reputation from this event?
no you must play different machines for that. usually on guild flagship or meksha

Small "Uhm Actually..."-ish correction: you technically don't have to have your ship from story progression to play the event.
The reason for that is the VIP-section on the fleet. If you have 1 million creds to spare for your new character, you can just play through the starter planet and immediately start to gamble.
This is a pretty valid method if you start a new character you plan to keep. If you're like me and 100% the starter planet for the XP, you'll have killed so many enemies there that you have 5-10 Emperor's tokens once you arrive at the fleet.
Only max bet machines up there though.

@@rosariocrimson Yeah, one side is the max bet machines and the other is just normal ones. I used them through this whole week, because the Fleet isn't as CPU heavy as the Casino Event area for some reason, which is a huge stress relief for my not-so-good hardware.
Funfact: When I started playing the event the other year, I didn't know that the max bet machines were even a thing. I went to the VIP section to go to the Collector's Edition vendor, and suddenly I'm standing in front of slot machines and was confused why some of them worked and others didn't. xD
@@schinkrio5575 Haha, honestly glad I learned from you that there were normal ones up there. I had been soloing some veteran flashpoints for the galactic season and to fill out some missing achievements, which got me 14 emperor tokens, which then led to 400 kingpins, which was a lot more manageable at the fleet where I didn't have people hogging all the kingpin machines.

I believe so. Nightlife is once a year but bounty is monthly.

Do not spend any credit on the MAX BET machine. I watched a friend spent 450 million credit for three chip. Outcome: 1 golden ticket; 2 golden ticket; 15 emperors chip. It's a credit sink that provides terrible odds. if you do, you'll re-enacting 11:09 after.
I half wonder if certain machines, like slot machines in real life, are somewhat rigged. On my Sorcerer, the kingpin machine all the way to the back on the left, if you're approaching from the taxi dropped the companion contract 3 wins in a row (3 wins, not 3 chips, chips it was within 20-50). Of course, if they are rigged, it might be possible that they're on a sort of rotation as well, like every hour or so the machine that more reliably drops the contract may move elsewhere, or might shut off the rigging entirely for a day or so. If I weren't a solo player, I'd be tempted to try and get a large group going and have everyone pick a machine and keep a log of what they win and how often from their machine, then try again on the same machines a few hours later and see if it's consistent. Sadly, none of my friends play SWTOR, and bad guild experiences have left me not wanting to join any, so I won't be able to test it myself.
