memory lane, great game, the only one ive tanked in... i was a Vanguard mostly but did level the other two eventually for certain skills & just add to my huge collection of characters :) Our small guild had just started harder modes & someone left so we needed a tank to continue.. i tried it & ended up loving it, played for around 3-4yrs as tank. Never had a go in other games since for unknown reasons, altho as dps i still control mobs similar and drag melee to ranged etc.. that game taught me a lot in its original form.. i believe combat has changed a lot since so i cant advise anything except try it out.. all 3 tank classes were very good & i think you can now use a skill from the others so for utilities you are well covered for all situations.
