Mine arrived this morning! This was a super helpful video as I am about to build and paint the thing 😅 I will probably get the Warboss next week, but for now I am super delighted with the Assassin. Of course, mine will be white and pink lole the rest of my army 😁🌸💖

I got the email that said I needed to pick which one I wanted. I got all excited because I had only subscribed in January. So I chose the assassin. Then I went to the Warhammer plus page and see that I have another six months to wait so. We’ll see you then and who knows? maybe I’ll change to the Orruk in that time.

I got an email sent across to say I needed to do this, but it could easily have been missed! Got the Kazarian pin badge proudly plastered on my backpack, next to a space wolves one I got from my local store, celebrating a 20 year anniversary! Edit - it arrived while I was sat in the car waiting to set off on holiday, what serendipity 😁

So I believe the Pin was for people who had a Warhammer 40k app subscription and upgraded to the Warhammer + account. The 12 month bonus was getting the model 3 months early

I wondered why the model wasn't available for me, then I remembered hearing something about the app users being able to get their models a few months earlier. Feel I jumped the gun a little, but the model looks great. Can't wait to get my hands on it.

I wish the assassin wasn't molded directly onto the platform. I was hoping it would be an easy magnetizing of his foot to put him on a normal base, but it looks like it will require some chopping if I want to do that now

I thought it’d be automatic too. Ah well. He’s moulded onto the stem, but I think he’d be removable with a bit of care. I couldn’t see him being used thematically in a game as he is now! I’m loving your Eldar and I’m looking forward to seeing where they are in 3 months!

It seems to take into account 40K app subs for a few months before, but I’m not entirely sure how it’s calculated. If you’re an annual sub I wouldn’t think there’d be an issue with giving them out now.

Yeah so I am trying to figure this out, it says my model is available 25th of August, I have subbed the day that this was released. When I go into the site, I see the model and its available there however it just gives an option of share and not add to card. I see on the count down timer I have 2 months. Wonder if this 24 hour timer is from when you select the minature in your account when you sign up, as I didnt do that straight away.

As well, if it's only £20 or so :) . I'm not a good painter yet, so I tend to just build the "large" boss models and leave them on my shelf until I've plucked up the courage! :D

To be honest, getting the model has made up for a lot of the crap we've experienced so far for me. If they can get a decent amount of content each week then i'll consider resubbing. I wouldn't blame anyone for selling the mini at that price (or any price really). It's crazy. The market seems to be getting flooded now, so it might not be that good for long.

If it wasn't for that I'd have cancelled months ago. The model will likely always have a decent value dye to being limited. Look at the commemorative models. Still trying to get the necrons at a decent price 🤣

I think the killer for me was that the back of the statue isn’t moulded, it just looks kind of hollow in my opinion
Good point! Not an issue for me since it’ll just end up in my display cabinet, but definitely would be if you were playing with it.

If you subbed to the Warhammer 40K app a few months before WH+ was released it seems to count towards the year. It’s not very slick at all.

I thought that the base of this assassin would be 40mm. I’m worried the 32mm might tip over.
It does seem very small for the model size. It hasn't tipped yet, but could on even slightly uneven terrain.
I put mine on a 40mm base, the 32 seems too small

Cool model but WH+ isn't worth it, I think I'll just wait for a recast or something
I’ve seen a few going for a lot more than the cost of the sub so far. The TV part isn’t great but the model bit seems to be going down well.
