Only superficial damage. Its notable because it was our biggest earthquake in decades (I think the 40 or 60s had a similar quake). Australia has very few earthquakes and most of them are super mild so we were all a bit shocked because it never happens. It was national news for a day or two.
Mate, your paint job on this figure is incredible. Mcfarlane figures are so good with sculpts, but they just need that more detailed paint job to real make the figures hit their mac potential. Well done on this, man. You should be proud of this.
I remember back when that woulda been the normal level of paint detail for mcfarlane figures. awesome figure mod. I have my own squad building on my shelf though the members are from different chapters.
Oh .. you can play full Team Kill with those :D You will be fine with just 5 marines .. But you might need then up to 10 of other forces. Maybe with Tau you might get away with drones instead of many people.
For the rest of the squad, why don’t you customize each member’s head to be an avatar of each table top time member. Kind of like the Jazz’s Space Marine you did. Have all of your faces on them, even customize sisters of battle for the female members of the team. But still make Rob a necron....
My favourite thing about this channel is that I'd been happily subbed for close to a year, before I realised Jazza had like, any other youtube channels.
How about an Alien inspired Tyranid team of Genestealers.. I am currently "trying" to convert one the same Space Marines into a DA Chaplain. Plasma gun, power maze, and a backpack with a giant sword going through it. I really enjoy your sane/insane vidioes ;-). If we did not try enything new, we would still be drinking milk...
Jazza always thinking big!!! He is like the anime hero that announces he is gonna do something epic, crazy, and unthinkable and all their friends are mind blown. Like, Whaaaat??! You're gonna whaaaat? Then they are like, well, no used trying to talk him out of it, he is gonna do it anyway. It's like when Luffy said he was gonna save Asce!!! Hahaha. I'm so excited to see the next videos in this series. I haven't played Warhammer, only D&D 5e so this really cool and interesting.
I really want to do this as well but I'm not a marines fan. I've been asking for a mega battle report since you printed your blood raven and my wish is coming true! Awesome work lads he looks incredible.
The D20 on the hand was PERFECT TOUCH!! Had to get up off the couch snd grab my phone literally to leave this comment. Epic move there man. Edit: Worlds biggest battle report with stop motion is literally the GREATEST IDEA EVER!!!
What an awesome paint job! I love the book and the candle additions, they look amazing in the final shots. Can’t wait to see the rest of the squad, and the opponents, and then the battle report; sorry Dave, but you know you’ll love it in the end 😂😊
i recon would should have them face a Chaos team made up of one figure symbolising each god, currently ive made a Khorne Berserker and a Slaaneshi noise marine so i would like to see their take on it
So fun fact to my surprise I recognized the person you guys used for the wink around the 5.50min mark. He is called Eddy Wally and was a Belgian singer.
What would be the "10 commandments" for Hobby Heresy? Though shalt not have a pile of shame larger than a newborn. Though shalt not attend a tournament without at least priming thine minis.
Great vid, I really hope you continue making figures like this into your own chapter! I like the church like feel of the sisters of battle, but keeping the original ultra marine armor.
You should totally have a scene in the battle report where one of the giant space marines jumps off the base plate and rushes the enemy out of turn after getting worked up.
Such a great conversion hope you will do more in the future, I really like wh40k lore and seeing models being painted and converted into different designs. Keep up the good work 🎨
I'd totally be the kind of guy who would write out a recipe for a cake in Latin on the book on the marine's shoulder just to see if anyone would figure it out.
OK this is cool. I have zero interest in tabletop games but really like the custom action figure paint jobs. Especially if you do the stop motion with these. Can't wait to see.
Omg, I never noticed that Jazza has the same 3D-printer as I just bought xD Dunno if other people would be interested but maybe a video with some tips and tricks on how to do a cool print like which sculpting and slicing software and other stuff would be cool
Bowl of warm water lets you completely separate the marine into about 18 parts, then a hairdryer on low heat to put it back together 👍,I convert the unpainted McFarlane marines and found that works well and giving them a good wash to get the excess resin oil off before you paint.
I think jazza should make one of theese big space marines into his custom space bears I think it would be quiet cool to see a massive version of the minis
i know jazza had a deep background with animation but man stop motion battle report is going to be one hell of a project one hell of a spectacle too if they pulled it off
Everyone knows the tactical rock increases the model price by 280% so it was a real good move adding that in.
Do Death Guard for their enemies, I’d love to see you sculpt all the nurgley bits
100% agree. Would be fantastic seeing large Death Guard units duking it out with the TTT Marines!
YES, and if not then chaos marines.
Mmmm yes, papa Nurgel makes happy chukels!
3 plague marines and 8 pox walkers, then you've got a kill team game on your hands.
(Or 5 plague marines but pox walkers would be more fun I think)
5:50 why is a noose hanging in the back round
whoa Jazza!!! You were one of the youtubers who first got me started on my art journey! So awesome to see you again :)
Didn't know there was an earthquake in Australia. I hope nothing got damaged and you and your loved ones are ok!
Only superficial damage. Its notable because it was our biggest earthquake in decades (I think the 40 or 60s had a similar quake). Australia has very few earthquakes and most of them are super mild so we were all a bit shocked because it never happens. It was national news for a day or two.
It was barely an earthquake. People can fart louder.
Mustn’t been anywhere near me. Didn’t even know it happened.
In California we lol at your earthquake 🤣
Yeah they're still close to the ring of fire
You do know they make figures that aren't painted SPECIFICALLY for this reason right?
Nah
@@iNsAniTy9669the painted ones still need better paint lol pretty lacking
Nerd
@@TrRubkeThis is literally a Warhammer painting video it's already nerdy so that's less of a insult and more of the obvious.
@@pinkpandamanz542it perfectly acceptable for the 20$ price point
Still waiting for Dave to say "I'm not" after Jazza introduces himself lol
The book is Winnie the Pooh. Just when I thought I couldn't love y'all more, you pull something like this hahahaha
I would never have noticed that if you didn't mention it.
Rest in peace lost crusade. Lasted 3 years. I only spent 2 bucks.
Mate, your paint job on this figure is incredible. Mcfarlane figures are so good with sculpts, but they just need that more detailed paint job to real make the figures hit their mac potential. Well done on this, man. You should be proud of this.
I've seen a few "make Warhammer tiny" videos around lately, and this is the delightful opposite of that! I can't wait to see the battle report
I remember back when that woulda been the normal level of paint detail for mcfarlane figures. awesome figure mod. I have my own squad building on my shelf though the members are from different chapters.
Remember halo 3 mcfarlane?
@@brendanmuller7301 yup, I still have a few of them.
I think Art of Spawn era had the best paint. Just the cape of my Spawn vs. Al Simmons figure has more paint than ten modern McFarlane figures.
Did not realize Primaris marines read Winnie the Pooh. I love it!
Their faith in the Codex: Pooh is why no primaris have yet fallen to chaos.
The last bit Jazza added at the end really made the whole thing pop. It seemed a bit flat before that.
Oh .. you can play full Team Kill with those :D
You will be fine with just 5 marines .. But you might need then up to 10 of other forces.
Maybe with Tau you might get away with drones instead of many people.
The Batman Beyond Shriek figure works well enough as a T’au.
I sadly don't think mcfarlin has tau figures
Surprised you didn’t make it into a giant space bear marine
i swear all every single one of these figures suffer from the curse of bent chainsword
so this is a advertisement for lost crusade with some custom work in between neat
I need to make this as a cosplay if I was in a suit of armor absolutely have books and candles and shit attached to me!
You can see the joy in their face just talking about a giant tabletop game
You guys should have a conversion battle, each of you get one and customize him based on your own custom space marine chapters from your 40k armies!
Isn't there a unpainted version of this anyway? Would have been easier? Or am I thinking of the older version?
You'll notice we whip those out at the end - the painted guy is the captain ;)
@@TabletopTime clever.
The 3D printer making it through the earthquake all I could think was.
"The Emperor protects."

I am so excited you guys are going to paint more of these. Maybe I’ll grow a pair and finally get to painting mine. 👍😎
By a foldable tabletop tennis table and build a wargaming table on it. When you’re done playing, fold it up and it does’nt take up much space….
"Everything's fine here" Ignoring the noose in the background of course.
you should make giant space bears with those figures
I am determined to see a life scale repaint (or cosplay) on the channel at some point in the future!
Phil, my local hobby shop in Werribee has it's own life size Blood Raven 😁 Just like the one that Guy from Midwinter Minis found earlier this year.
The Winnie the pooh book makes this absolutely perfect!
You know a warrior is freaking dedicated when he obnoxiously stamps the seal of his empire all over his body 😉
Death guard would be a fun sculpting project for Jazza
Hollow out that back pack put a watch battery with an led. Drill out the candle wicks and use fiber optics to light the wicks from the led. Boom!
Three ads for Lost Crusade in the first 7 minutes… that’s a bit much guys.
I just discovered your channel, and this is amazing! I don't paint models in a long time (10/13 years!) but you make me want to start again!
Even a space marine needs his packed lunch when going into battle, pretty sure thats whats been sculpted on his shoulder ! Yeah for sure
Jazza always thinking big!!! He is like the anime hero that announces he is gonna do something epic, crazy, and unthinkable and all their friends are mind blown. Like, Whaaaat??! If you want a full positionalable opponent go chaos space marines and convert them. (There's some beautiful CSM conversions on yt already)
There sure are ;)
I had my doubts at the start but you realized him beautifully!
This is badass, there’s some cool 3D stl files out there for the mcfarlane marines
Oh man, that looks so great!
But... It's nothing personal, but there is just this thing that is missing... Oh, right. There is no *Blood.*
Also if they put some silicon light effect top of those candles OMG that would look really cool!
Do Necrons bleed? 😜
Does the original commit mild heresy. Yes.
Does the new version bring glory to the emperor. Also yes.
Imagine that in Toy Story, Andy birthday gift was not Buzz Lightyear but this Primaris instead
I really want to do this as well but I'm not a marines fan. I've been asking for a mega battle report since you printed your blood raven and my wish is coming true! Awesome work lads he looks incredible.
I expected a space marine to be taller than the size of my palm 😂😂
I’m a good 9 hours drive north and I feet the earthquake, my whole house was shaking.
As an action figure customizer for most of my life now...I get a real kick out of watching mini folks dip their toes into that hobby.
The D20 on the hand was PERFECT TOUCH!! Had to get up off the couch snd grab my phone literally to leave this comment. Epic move there man.
Edit: Worlds biggest battle report with stop motion is literally the GREATEST IDEA EVER!!!
Proper Warhammer killteam with massive action figures sounds like an awesome time
Table top time doesn't pop up on my timeline enough, love this video
Awesome
Now we need that kind of conversion for Adepta Sororitas from that models line
Reeeeally hope, that You will make it)
What an awesome paint job! I love the book and the candle additions, they look amazing in the final shots. Can’t wait to see the rest of the squad, and the opponents, and then the battle report; sorry Dave, but you know you’ll love it in the end 😂😊
I know one thing you should custom, but it's going to be on a long waiting list, Dragon into a Zombie Undead Dragon that has risen from it's grave
If you want to make the enemies also posable you could use Gundam model kits to make Tau
I love Jazza for this final idea! It’s a green light from me
I love that the book has "Winnie the pooh in the 100 acre wood" written on it. Bloody brilliant!
OMG I can't wait to see this all come together. Great work as usual!!
Basically giant wizards chess but with space marines is just around the corner
OOOOOOOOORKS! I think that the wacky orks fit you guys super well plus.... its orktober
My 9 year old son wants the opposing team to be Goobertown Hobbies themed. Sounds like a great collaboration opportunity to me!
He wouldn't if he knew what a creep GH is.
Okay
That idea reveal at the end is pretty sick
Looking forward to that coming to fruition!
Finally I've been hoping for you guys to do this so I can see some techniques I can use for my own McFarlane Ultramarine painting journey
i recon would should have them face a Chaos team made up of one figure symbolising each god, currently ive made a Khorne Berserker and a Slaaneshi noise marine so i would like to see their take on it
16:19 he was saying it was done and was thinking it still looked a little too clean for a battle worn soldier. And jazz answered
I find it really funny that their Bible or whatever they call it is thick enough where it could be considered armour
So fun fact to my surprise I recognized the person you guys used for the wink around the 5.50min mark. He is called Eddy Wally and was a Belgian singer.
OMG I love that idea, giant "minis" to play on tabletop, let's go
What would be the "10 commandments" for Hobby Heresy?
Though shalt not have a pile of shame larger than a newborn.
Though shalt not attend a tournament without at least priming thine minis.
What on earth is Eddy Wally doing in this video?? WOW, GEWELDIG!
Great vid, I really hope you continue making figures like this into your own chapter! I like the church like feel of the sisters of battle, but keeping the original ultra marine armor.
I'm so glad someone is playing/going to play giant Warhammer 40k with the McFarlane action figures.
the d20 chain was a rather clever touch. i appreciate it.
You should totally have a scene in the battle report where one of the giant space marines jumps off the base plate and rushes the enemy out of turn after getting worked up.
"There is no such earthquake can stop me from printing this base"
If you watch Midwinter Minis, you know you love those little participation awards 😆
Yes! all of the yes! Also good to hear you made it through the earthquake.
What ever happened to the Space Bears and Dave's Round Table Marines?
Holy crap a game of Kill Team played with action figures?!
That’s something I didn’t know I needed till now.
Such a great conversion hope you will do more in the future, I really like wh40k lore and seeing models being painted and converted into different designs.
Keep up the good work 🎨
I heard about that earthquake on he news. And the print survived? Impressive!
And looking forward ti a battle report with pose-able "minis".
I love that the book is Winnie the Pooh! Such a fun idea for a chapter

Jazza “I not only use milliput I use the box as well. Cause I an Adult and I care about the environment. “
Do you add varnish / shellac to protect the paints or is the paint layer enough?
Can't wait to see how this all turns out

Damn that's one solid 3d printer props to the makers of it
I recently got a unpainted sisters of battle one looking forward to painting that one day
you clearly picked a specific pose so if youd of glued the joints in place it wouldnt of flopped around so much. It looks amazing by the way
Fixing implies there was a mistake in the first place this is more accurately improving.
Where do you get those printouts with the space marine onnpaper?!?!?
Put highlights over you chipped paint effect. It makes it look much better and more 3D.
the anxiety of dave in that moment
