Are you planning to use aftermarket full range speakers with an aftermarket amp for power too?
Can I just flip the box so that the fat part of the wedge is down and the speakers would fire against the seat I've got a single cab with a bench seat ?
I would first measure carefully to make sure you had enough space. If you needed to install in that orientation to fit your specific vehicle, the Alpine subwoofer box would sound great.
We don't measure for vehicle specific fit on these, so you'll need to measure to make sure you have enough width to use the amp try. The center linking brackets can be adjusted, providing between 40" and 51" of enclosure mounting width. With the enclosure in its widest mounting configuration (51"), the amplifier tray brackets provide 11"(w) x 9"(d) of mounting space for an amp.
These are a better fit for the crew cabs; but we are happy to see what else may work. Do you have the 1500? Did your truck come with a factory Alpine audio system? What size factory radio did it come with?

Would this fit in the trunk of a 21 grand cherokee? Also I've never had 8s before. Are these any good or would I get more out of a 12 inch

Hello, thank you for responding, yes I have the truck. No Alpine system. Regular sound system 6 speakers with the 8.4 screen
