I don’t. But i can you tell its just an upside down hook with the shank bound to the line just above a stack of sinkers. I don’t like it so im thinking of replacing the hook with something cut from aluminium or stainless.
Hey chris, in answer to your question, i do like the unit. Ease of use and sturdiness i can’t fault, with the touch screen and nmea 2000 i can switch quickly between maps, engine/fuel telemetry and sounder. I am not100% happy with side imaging, but it does pick up structure really clearly. What i am not getting is clear crisp images of fish. I can get some to show, but it is not in the realm of gpsmap or high end humminbirds. Those units are probably $4-5k, this unit (105 echomap ultra) was just over $2.5k. I do have a couple of settings to test and see if i can tweek it a bit, but feel i am at least getting 8-9/10 out of this unit after using it for over a year.
@@potatoesGDITB THANK you for your feedback i run a Lowrance with only Downscan at the moment, but i would like to be able to see under the Port where the buggers hide , but not wanting to spend the $4/5 k. Subded, up , keep the vids coming Good luck. Chris PS love the spot up stream a good variety of fish, is that just a spot you found.
Its a 10yo 5-10kg Shimano raider. Barra Spin 6’6”. Ive many jacks, cod, jew and snapper with it over the years. Its like a broomstick, so i like it with jerkshads to. $70 off the specials rack and does the job!
Last of the runout but i find they also chew well on the first of the run in sometimes as well
Good vid!
Cheers!
Where and how do you get your bait?
Awesome vid
@@gregeberhardt1711 i use a 10ft castnet around the shallow muddy mangrove edges. Haven’t been a lot around the port lately.
Awesome looking fishing area my friend and some nice fish! I enjoyed the adventure. Liked and subbed. Stay safe and connected!
Thanks Mark. Plenty more vids and hopefully good fish to come!!
Great content, have you got a close up photo of your release device to send the big girls back down to the depth.?
