This was probably one of my most engaging videos. Had always knew snaps hunt high up in these shallows at high tide, never knew they were that big though :)
Nah mate I gotta give it a rest. Fished there too much already. Gotta try new things to bring different contents to the channel. I’d be out Nudgee Sunday I believe :)
Yep I found that out too… interesting I knew about that years ago but have recently forgotten. Since moving on to Soft plastics I tend to let a lot of my catches go so I don’t really concentrate on what a legal size of a fish is unless it’s a special fish that I rarely catch then I sit down and start googling just to make sure.. I did it again on today’s video. Releasing like 8 legal size tailors thinking they’re undersized lol….. better to release a legal size fish then keep an undersized one I guess. With someone like me who is always in the public eye I’m constantly paranoid about keeping fish hence if myself or a mate on my boat catches an undersized fish I always try to angle my camera on that person to record the release….
Yeah mate I’ve known this place for years but only just discovered how to fish it. Always tempted to go back there every time but being a youtuber I have to constantly change contents. I’ve left this spot to rest up for a while, looking for other adventures elsewhere :)
Oh dear lol now that you mentioned it I think it might be right too! We released 3 that size lol. Oh well rather release than make the mistake of keeping undersized I guess :)
thanks for an awesome day out mate...really appreciate it
