Дак естественно, ведь, суть этого инструмента заменить множество инструментов в одном. И естественно они будут маленькие, иначе компактность будет на низком уровне. А в условия похода, много вещей не возьмешь.

I liked your review. I have an older Victorinox SwissChamp XAVT, but my model (#1.6795.XAVT) is no longer in production. It has 80 features. It's not really a practical EDC knife, but it's very impressive. Mine has a built-in clock/calendar LCD display on one side, and two hooks instead of one. Mine doesn't have the universal wrench tool, but that would be a nice addition.

Same as mine. I did notice some features in the video that gave me a "hey, wait a minute" moment as my boat anchor didn't seem to include them. I was not aware that they had updated the design in later editions.
I used to have the Cyber Master, which is already super huge! This is.. something else! The Swiss Champ is still my favorite swiss knife! The mini champ is also great for the size as well!
In '96 I bought the Swiss Champ (which was the biggest at the time) while travelling in Switzerland. I have used the magnifying lens the most.

Я рекомендую посмотреть на Leatherman Surge. Он уступает специализированным инструментам. При этом для ситуаций где ты не можешь взять чемодан с инструментом, но работать возможно будет нужно это будет отличным вариантом. Например в командировку или в поездку в гости (на неделю например). Также вариант компоновки multitool для много предметных инструментов удобнее чем Swiss Army knife.
Originally these hunks were for salesmen for demonstrating the features in shops. But I understand that quite a few fans are happy to pay an even heftier price to get such a fine collectors item. So they sell em to us all. Jay! Well, I bought a Vic Champion in 1983, instant love, and have to admit ... it was to bulky for my everyday use. But what the heck, I used it at home and when an adventure in the woods (or whereever) was planned. 😉

I have eight different Swiss Army knives, from two manufacturers (Victorinox and Wenger), and I carry a Leatherman Supertool and a large penknife every day, but I STILL want one of these!
I once saw a custom SAK at the Victorinox store in London. It had silver blades/tools, a platinum frame, and diamond-studded grip scales. It was £68,000........
Gonna be expensive but they are available. I carry a Leatherman Wave and a Victorinox Swiss Champ on my belt. That is more than heavy enough!

Bought my Swiss Champ (SOS set) almost 40 years ago when I could probably have used my (then) scant funds elsewhere. Still have the set and had it refurbished by Victorinox a few years back. As good as new.
Yeah this is more of a display piece. It has all of the tools of Victorinox

Я рекомендую посмотреть на Leatherman Surge. Он уступает специализированным инструментам, но для ситуаций где ты не можешь взять чемодан с инструментом, но работать возможно будет нужно это будет отличным вариантом. И в компоновка мультитула для многопредметника будет поудобнее чем компоновка швейцарского ножа

I collect Swiss Army knives. In my opinion, the "Swiss Champ" is the the largest of the classic Victorinox designs to still be handy to use and not too expensive. These huge models are interesting to collect but impractically large and heavy. I have one (with the butane lighter!) and stupidly dropped it onto the floor. The smaller knives would have survived with no ill effects but this beast was so heavy that it cracked one of the scales!

Это точно. У меня с собой постоянно лежат в рюкзаке плоскогуцы мультитул, так вот за три года ниразу ни плоскогубцами ни ножом не воспользовался. Но всётаки они как-то душу греют, когда они есть.
I had a habit of pocketting one whenever I leave home. One day I forgot about it at the airport after checking in my luggages. All hell broke loose, thinking that it would surely be detected and confiscated. Luckily it was safe with me till today. Nowadays I leave home without it. It has 8 tools. Most important #9 Xray non-detectable!

The same happened with me.. always carry my victorinox..got stopped at the embarkation point.. the airport security saw my army ID n let me through even though he could ve stopped me.. that happened within a year of receiving it from my unit.. its been 15 yrs now.. still my companion
