Always wanted to love Wipeout but never quite could. I remember thinking it was very cool back then, with the music and awesome graphics but never quite clicked with the gameplay for some reason. Great video 🙂🏎️🏁
Nice vid man! totally agree on 2097, is probably the only racing game that I go back and complete once a year! awesome driving, soundtrack and atmosphere!
highly enjoyable vid mate! i do absolutely agree with you on top gear 2 on the amiga. it is super fun, the driving feels good, there are upgrades, pick ups on the tracks, many various locations. while the lotus games have better game engine and speed, top gear 2 has the better overall gaming experience, imho.
Yep, I did like the first lotus game on the Amiga, me and my brother used to play it quite a bit, but it always bugged me how you always had the split screen even in single player.

But the first game that springs to mind and is also a Trilogy or maybe more the Burnout series the first one is brilliant I've got the other 2 but haven't played them 😂 I think the best need for speed is hot pursuit 2 then underground 2 I haven't played the modern ones. There's loads motor storm series on ps3 are all brilliant! Split second and blur also ps3 or 360 and Rush is brilliant on ps4 and xbox one
Ooh yeah, hot pursuit 2 is good, really liked Burnout 3 on XBox classic too, there is a mode where it's all about causing crashes which was probably where I spent most of my time.
Yeah it's always a solid choice, there are some other good racers so might do a part 2 at some point. Keep meaning to check out that Super Tomato retro store down your way at some point.
For arcade racing the first Motorstorm on PS3. It was a blast online. As for racing sim Sega's F355 challenge.
This video looked great though in 4k on the 77inch Sony the games look great upscaled!
