It really is something like a ritual for me as well. I always see your videos before I go to bed, then I watch about half of it and fall asleep and watch the rest the next morning while getting ready and it's such a wonderful way of enjoying a great night/morning. You have a fantastic voice and the sounds of the car accelerating and braking is so soothing. Can't help it mate

I always watch one of his videos while setting down for the night. The racing is good enough that you can watch the video and stay engaged but when you start to get tired you can also close your eyes and listen to the commentary until you're completely asleep.

You got me! These videos are both educational and entertaining. At the same time when it's late at night and it's time to close my eyes, the sound of your voice, the beautiful sound of the high rev engines, and the hypnotic race lines are a good combination for making me fall asleep.

Actually your videos come up at the exact time I usually have dinner, and since I live alone you never fail to provide good company while I eat 😄
So I found out that pov racing videos put me right to sleep. Finding this out, I now do it on purpose and honestly, these are S+ tier versions of that. A nice voice and cars going round a track. You should totally make an hour long video. I don't always fall asleep to your videos but when I do, it's always a good sleep.
He has some Forza endurance races that are 60+ minutes, but I definitely wouldn't mind more.

I’m happy you acknowledged that. If I’m awake your videos are wonderful to watch for the racing and wonderful deadpan sense of humor but they’re also brilliant background noise if you wanna fall asleep
I definitely fall asleep watching your videos…. But I always wake up and watch the remainder of what I’ve missed. But your vids do come in clutch when I really need to sleep…. So thank you for both the entertainment and sleep

Falling asleep to your vids was never meant as an insult and Im glad you know. Im falling asleep because of the calm voice, engine sounds and how satisfying the races are. Usually using older vids or even livestreams so I can watch the new content when Im awake. :)
Man, I’m so glad I wasn’t the only one falling asleep during these videos. Whenever I’m tired, I often crash in bed or at my desk if I pull up one of Steve’s videos because I find the combination of his voice and racing super relaxing. Thank you for your work!

I find absolutely fascinating that people do fall sleep to racing videos. I use yours in particular to eat, because I can look away from the screen for the few miliseconds it takes me to take a bite without missing a lot (Your commentary is that good). It's great that you enunciate/foreshadow big events well in advance so I can rapidly regain focus to those
2:00 is the good racing, the calming soothing voice over, the hilarious and accurate commentary, and to know that there is or there will allways be something interesting along the video... All good stuff

I started watching your channel because of the racing. However you are my go to sleep aid now. Sometimes I'll hear something and I'll open my eyes and be intrigued for the rest of the video. I appreciate all the things you do.
You are like a perfect content creator. the content and commentary by itself are engaging and good to watch as your normal day routine. But it also works really well as a sleep aid since the engine sounds have the perfect sound and loudness combined with the calm and collected way you talk is really soothing

Aarava is very energetic, Jarno inhales his mic sometimes, etc. you're so calm in the heat of exhilerating racing, so it's a perfect mix. I’m glad you don’t take the sleep thing as a negative. Sometimes I will put your videos on my tv as I’m laying on my couch and just pass out after a few. Definitely a relaxing voice, and racing sounds are great white noise
