Beautiful job. As a kid I had a full BR set with that blond plastic-like shellac coating, glad to see those pieces can be redone to look fresh & modern.
It is a "bear" to get that blond off of the piece. Even scuff sanding is a chore!😀 Thanks Evie!

It is interesting to see how the sage & olive gray-greens that are popular now are like a more muted shade of the avocado green that was so popular in the late 60s & the 70s. Even color trends get a "makeover" over time.
We laugh when our daughter talks about the latest trend in clothes and we're like "yeah, we came up with that 40 years ago. You guys just renamed it and think you're brilliant!". 🤣🤣🤣 Thanks again Evie!

The veneer was shot in a lot of places on this piece. Would it have been better in the landfill?
Wow, these turned out amazing! I noticed you used durham, never heard of it. Is it stronger than bondo?
Thanks Lashonda! We use Durham's for surface filling and it works as well as Bondo. We wouldn't use it to repair a corner or edge like Bondo though. Hope that helps!
