You guys… this turned out beautifully! Thank you so much for saving it from the trash. I love the semi transparent stain. ❤️
Thanks so much Angie! 😊 Your videos have inspired us!!!
I'm SHCOCKED! You guys took this from trash pile ready.....to GORGEOUS!!! WOW, WOW, and WOW!!!
Thank you!!
Love your work.
“Love of furniture and keeping something out of the dump”
The only two reasons you need.
Thanks for sharing
This started out as a "and this is why we can't have nice things around you two" video... and turned into a lovely chest. And, I completely understand about hours worked VS profit made. This was a love labor, not a flip labor. And Ihave my share of those too. Still, great video! Thank you for being you!
Thanks Carmen!
Worth all the hard work, I am so glad you saved it from the landfill. the stain is gorgeous.
Thanks Eileen!
Wow, you did a great job bringing that broken down piece back to life. Well done!
Thank you!!
When I first started watching the restoration I was thinking oh no. Shame on me because of course it turned out fantastic. Love it 🤣
It didn't seem that bad until we unloaded it. We were thinking "Oh, no" too! Thanks Marcia!
That turned out really lovely! Sometimes it's just as important to keep a piece out of the landfill as it is to make a profit.
So true! Thanks Joyce!
Nicely done! A pile of wood turns into a functional dresser! Good call on putting the pearl finish on the pulls.🌸
Thank you! 😊
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!💖💖💖💖💖
WELL DONE!!!
Thanks Diane!
Not going to lie, I wouldn't have had the nerve to offer that wreck of a dresser on Facebook Marketplace even for free. Good job saving it from where it was headed. This restoration proves that anything is possible with enough heart, creativity, and elbow grease. Really enjoyed watching the process. I hope you recoup the loss of time and effort with growing subscriptions and fan appreciation.
You did beautiful job! Now, it's so cute and has so much character! I love it! Thanks so much for sharing and for all the tips.
Thank you Sophia!
Great job you guys!!!! Couples working together towards a common goal is the best. Congrats!
Well that’s a new use for silicon sealant! Great job!
🤣🤣🤣 Thanks Jeanine!
You have vision to be able to see through the ugly exterior and know there is hope for it. It turned out so well and ready for many more years of use.
Thanks Laurel!
Wow! So much work! But worth it for the result, and good on you two for taking the trouble to repair and renovate such an interesting old piece. If a thing is worth doing, it's worth doing well, is an old saying from back where I come from and you certainly proved that. Another saying is, do it right the first time... and you proved that one too! Silicone sealant on wood? Goodness me. 😳 All`s well that ends well though said Shakespeare. 🤗
Thank you!!!😊
That was so great to watch. You two put in so much work. It was great that you explained the practicality of finishing a piece like this to flip for a profit. As always you guys are great at explaining and showing us the realities of finishing furniture. And it came out very nice indeed!!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks Marie!
LOL, IKEA has nothing on this dresser . Very cool. That was a puzzle
Thanks Jay!😁
You did a great job and saved it from the landfill.
Andersonville, Tennessee here! You are right! Really was a mess, but what a great transformation! That is one I personally would have passed on, but so glad you guys didn't!
Yes! Thank you!
ZOWIE! You two are amazing! What a beautiful piece!
Thank you so much!
Sometimes stuff like this gives you the opportunity to play, try new things or just prove a point to yourself... that it was able to be rescued
Truth! Thanks Lee!
Spectacular result, especially considering what u started with 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thanks so much! 😊
Call that one "Pick Up Sticks". Nice job.
🤣 Thanks Jay!
That color is absolutely stunning,,,
I'm sorry for being late to the party on this video. But holy transformation you two! All That work, well worth it for the final results. Thanks for keeping it real about the time investment into such extensive restorations. They can be fun but definitely a profit zapper. This is just stunning!
Thanks so much Jenn!
It was a mess but you two made it work
Thanks Kathleen!
Wow great work. Turned out beautiful.
Thanks so much 😊
Very helpful info-- I work on antique tiger oak dressers and chests from time to time and have a hard time trying to get the drawers functional --thanx for your labor of love!
Thanks Jeannie!
Wow! So beautiful! Thanks for saving this piece. You both are so talented. 🌹
Thank you so much!
Your determination to complete a project to your usual standards in spite of the many challenges is admirable but not surprising. As always the finished piece is outstanding. And no silicone caulk! (I swear - some people, right?! I checked, this was not a bathtub.)
We couldn't find any other evidence of it being a bathtub either!🤣Thanks!
What an absolutely wonderful project.
Thank you Barbara!
Very beautiful! Good job!
Thanks Virginia!
truly a labour of love--tremendous result
Thank you Nina!

Thank you so much!
Absolutely amazing! Your work is just a whole new level of refinishing, your talent is remarkable. This piece turned out stunning! Thanks for showing that we are capably of more than just painting or staining a piece.
Thank you so much 😀
I was wondering about half way through the video if it was worth the time. Piece turned out just amazing, but you would have made more working at a fast food joint!! Glad you chose to put the work in and showed us the results.
Like we said, sometimes it's about the love of furniture and not the money. 😉 Thanks Maureen!!
What a challenge 💙 yes for the love of furniture 💙 you have great skill 💙
Thanks Shelley!
Wow what a great transformation x
Thanks Christine!
You guys always do an exceptional job and this does not disappoint!! I was skeptical at first but this piece turned out beautiful!!

BRAVO, BRAVO, BRAVO❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks LuLu!!
Amazing, you guys! 😍
Thank you!!
Gotta get one
Fantastic !!!
Thank you! Cheers!
This may be your best project yet. You were able to exhibit so many different skills that you two have. It was a good teaching video, both for do's and don't's...like the silicone? 🙄 Really? Some folks just need to stay away from furniture...just not you two! Your patience is astounding!
🙂. Have a Happy 4th of July 🇺🇲.
Wow, thank you Holly! You have a good 4th too!
Well, at least the silicone sealant made the dresser come apart more easily 😆!
Enjoyed thankyou.Have liked and subscribed.
Awesome, thank you Dean!
Sweet.
Thanks!
I'm just a Suzzy, but I have redone my version of furniture. Uhm reupholstered a conversion van. Top to bottom etc.
Cool! Thanks!
I just finished one just like yours, and I found it setting between 2 trash cans, and the piece was NOT holding up the trash cans.
Thanks John! 😀
This piece was saved from the garbage!
Thanks Sophia!
Uauuuuu!!👏👏👏👏❤
Thanks Sandra!
Silicone...OMG
I know, right? Thanks!
What kind of sandblaster is that.
Harbor Freight 40lb Soda Blaster.
Well transcend furniture ive heard of some dumb things done in the name of saving an item but silicone is dumbest yet
Im working on a labor of love project to
My labor of love is possibly a depression dresser that once was owned by my great grandmother
This dresser was in a house fire and took some substantial smoke soot and water damage and was then shoved in my barn and forgotten for 30 years
Now in 2022 my dad is needing a dresser
So he is getting the one im ressurecting on my channel hope you come by and check it out
Thanks! It's quite a compliment that you called us transcend furniture! We love Angie's work! We'll check out your channel!
@@FurnitureWarriors oops i apologize if i got your channel name wrong there was probably late when i watched your video and was tired yall be cool and come on by the channel ive got several new furniture videos coming up
I know items of furniture like this cost a lot to repair, but it's real furniture and not saw dust under aa plastic skin (I call sausage furniture ).
Truth! Thanks Jess!
No need to watch every second of repetitions. Otherwise enjoyed the outcome.
Shouldn’t have painted it. Should have just stained it and then clear poly. Painting ruins furniture.
You obviously were not actually watching the video properly as this was a stain used with a small amount of paint added to change the colour of the STAIN slightly 🤦🤦
Thanks Polgara UK!
