If you want to
Click or select: Tap on an item.
Right-click: Press and hold the side button, then tap on the item.
Drag and drop: Place your pen on an item, and hold it there until the circle around the pointer completes. Then move the item to where you want it to go.
Select multiple items: Press and hold the side button, then drag your pen over the items you want to select.
Open Microsoft Whiteboard: Click the top button once.
Open Snip & Sketch: Double-click the top button.
Open Sticky Notes: Press and hold the top button.

I honestly always type way faster with a keyboard, even when typing on glass. For me the pen is more for sketching or things like that, but still searching for its value. Thanks for the video 👍

Microsoft Helps i have to still admit that although all my services/products and apps and subscriptions are dominated by Microsoft (in my iPhone, Xbox, and MacBook), I still cannot get over the UI experience of Windows. It’s too complex for Apple users to get over on. I almost bought a Surface laptop 💻 3 . Deep down I knew I wasn’t going to be happy with the user face, so I bought a MacBook 💻, even though the Surface hardware is equal or better than MacBooks. Lure Apple users with the software/user interface. I seek simplicity and cleanliness

Even though this video is from last year, it certainly helps knowing that instead of seeing my terrible handwriting I can now have it automatically become neatly typed words. I don't know if I will do this instead of using the keyboard, but it certainly is nice to know I don't have to set down my laptop with the foldable keyboard if I want neat words.

I have recently purchased the Surface Pen (Microsoft) to be used in conjunction with my Surface Laptop and I must say, it is an excellent product. "Simplicity" and "Efficiency" are what springs to mind. 😎

I think the only thing mac has that the Surface Pro does not is a indicator color change on the charging cable when fully charged. Or am I missing something?
My mac's charging cable would change from orange (charging) to green (fully charged). My Surface Pro stays white and you have to hover over the battery icon to see the time remaining until fully charged.
Which is extremely minor.
And isn't a huge deal, I just found it odd.
ipad pro is really nice, just test it and you will be amazed. idk why but why i use ipad pro i feel comfort and new

Very detailed! Funny story! Just bought the Surface Laptop Go and said wow, cool! A pen to go along with it! Got it and the inking is not compatible 😂😂 so now I’m gonna spend more money on one I can write on and keep the laptop too!!! Wasn’t even thinking about a pen at first!

Do you have to stop writing after each word for it to recognize the word or can you just continue writing? I initially go the surface pen but ended up returning it because I couldn't find the use for it. I said to myself, there's gotta be a much better use and it should work on most apps.

I am having problems to write with my pencil because I the touchscreen doesn't recognize the pen when I hold my hand, and very uncomfortable to use it in the air. Does anyone know how to set up the pet with the button working as an eraser? I got the pen almost a year ago, and somehow (I can't remember) set it up so that in the art program I use, I can erase with the button like a normal pencil. This was very helpful, saving the time it took to change tools. I lost the pen for a few months, and recently found it. I paired it with my surface go again, but the eraser function is gone. Any help would be appreciated :D
I've bought Surface Pro7 and keyboard in Alcantara, 2 weeks ago, and now I'm looking for the Pen but I am very confused on my choice about the weight, since the Platinum model weighs 50g while the Blue Ice model (like my keyboard) weighs 400gr. Why? I draw a lot, so I don't want excessive weight to tire my wrist, but I have to understand why, and if weight means better or different performance. I want to buy it soon, thanks if you want to help me understand which one to choose. They both cost the same.

How do you select portion of graphic or photo to save in a file? Accustomed using Samsung pro and press button on pen to select an area and save to scrapbook before it stopped working

I'm sure this all works really well during the time you're not trying to violently put your forehead through the screen after hours of dealing with and troubleshooting any number of windows many characteristic software "surprise mechanic" quirks.

Is this plastic cover important? I mean if it has been removed then will it hamper the connection? I have replaced the battery but iam not able to connect it. Does it has a node or something ? I remember that has been removed by me by mistake, it was a small chip which had 2 small square golden coloured with black background, it was a very small chip

Hi I use MIcrosoft Surface Pro 4 . I connected my pen to Surface and its button is working do screenshots but Icannot write with it. What do you think problem is?

A Surface Pen is a stylus designed for Microsoft's Surface line of devices including Surface Book, Surface Laptop, etc.
