My head is spinning just thinking about those bike problems. I had been searching for a C-50 with FI but after hearing this maybe sticking with the carb models is the way to go I don't know. Nightmare city there and hardly anyone knows how to work on them including the "professionals". My heart goes out to you but you're in too deep to stop now. You have one heck of a mission ahead but maybe you will be able to win and help some others along the way. Thanks for all the videos and someday I will get another bike. Lord willing.
Hi zrkn 1, Such a shame, a great bike that I can't ride. Wished I would never have bought that bike. Suzuki must know about this problem. I even though about getting a set of carbs from an older bike and putting them on this bike. Time will tell. Thank you for your comment. Norman.
My friend has 2007 intruder UK model. Same as boulevard. He had idle problems. It turned out to be rusty contacts on the ignition coils... Don't know if that's of any help.
Someone ask a question and I brought this video up and found an add on it ??? I never put an add on my videos and never would. I heard You-Tube was going to do this. This way they get all the money for the add. I will have to check my other videos. Norman.
Hi Chris, The tool came with very little on how to use it . I got into the "Throttle position sensor" then things came up and I never got back to it. There is a guy on You-Tube "The Bearded Mechanic" talking about Suzukis and he said Suzuki has where you can use a dealer switch and change the idle by using the dash board where you read the codes and he said have the kill switch on so the bike can't run. I have found codes by using the switch. Some on You-Tube show how to use a piece of wire instead of the switch. If I find a fix I will put it up. Norman.
I still have the Suzuki but have not done any work on bikes in a while. Wife and I are putting in a new kitchen. I mean we did the layout, finished all the cabinets doing a new floor, new sink, stone on the wall behind the sink and lots more to do. I hope to get to it net spring. Norman.
Thanks for the great video! I ended up using the paperclip trick to pull the code on mine ad got C028. After doing some digging, I was ready to try and resolver some wires in my Secondary Throttle Valve Actuator. As I started taking the tank off I found a ton of rust on the mechanical piece that actually opens and closes the throttle valves. I live by the beach and don't have a garage. Drenched it in WD40 and it worked!!! Problem gone and no more FI light! I posted it here: www.volusiariders.com/threads/fi-light-when-cold-fast-idle-restart-makes-it-goes-away.420457/
th-cam.com/video/a8ZFgU8i12I/w-d-xo.html Hi Vanessa, Here is a link to replacing the clutch. Brian Glenn has a lot of videos on the C50. Also look at his "Full Clutch Adjustment". You need to do that after you replace the clutch. Let me know if this helps you. Norman.
Hi Pablo, Mine does not run hot. I took it out the road and it runs perfect. It's just the idle ( when stopped) goes up or down. Some times it will go so low it will shut off. Other times it revs real high. I wrote to the Suzuki company about this problem. Told them that a lot of riders are having this problem. Norman.
It’s awful chasing a gremlin and no one has the answers just bought a 07 c50 idles great but once you take off it runs like shit I may bypass the pairing valve👍
Hello my name is Diego I live in Peru, I have a suzuki boulevard C50 from 2007, I have a problem when the motorcycle is cold, when I turn it on I have to accelerate a little, if I do not accelerate the motorcycle does not start, but when the motorcycle is already hot the problem disappears, I have seen all your videos and thanks to that I have been able to fix many things but I still do not solve this problem I already put the motorcycle in dealer mode and it only throws the code C00, a mechanic told me that it must be the pressure sensors of oxygen, but the motorcycle does not throw me the code of these, I have checked the throttle body sensor and still do not solve the problem that you think may be?
Hi Diego, I think this is normal to rev the bike when cold. I have to give mine a little throttle when starting and once started it should idle. Norman.
Hi Randy, I just checked it on my computer and it sounds good then I put it on my TV and it sounds OK. I tape it with a go-pro that has one mike then when I produce it I put the sound for both speakers. I have no idea why it's like that for you. Have any ideas how I can fix it? Norman.

SURE GLAD I GOT AN OLD 91 VX800 W IDLE ADJUSTMENT KNOB LOL
These have idle control knobs
Did you ever get this problem sorted out.?
Did you try the tool and see if that fixed it I have a 2006 C50 doing the same thing

Just wondering what is happening with your C-50? I am all ears because I have an 06 C-50. Do you still have it? Thanks.

Will, Thank you for the info. I am going to take the tank off to get ready so when I get the new ISC. Norman.
Can you do a video on how to remove the carbur3
Not at this time. Sorry.
I'm not sure how to contact you, do you have a video on a C50t Clutch replacement?

Could the ISC cause the exhaust run red hot if it's not working correctly?
