I would check drum brakes, front brakes, coolant, bleed brakes, if clutch seems to slip relplace that too, spark plugs. Basic maintenance. Owner manual can be found on website.
It looked to me like there were five bolts to remove that frame + the one bolt with the hex head, do those six bolts have a torque spec or do they just going tight with blue thread lock... Same question for the three acorn bolts.
I have exactly same problem , when you received the new drive shaft assembly was the shaft firm and not loose and wobbly like what you showed on this video?
Question, how did you get the female coupling holder nut off? I'm talking about the one with the folded lip you need to pry open, but you need to hold the assembly in place to take the 22mm nut off, how did you manage? Vice?
Hi there 👋. I start reassembling all of this final gear unit yesterday and had a question. Maybe you know how that bond 1207B should be applied? There are 2 holes for breather on final gear case. Thank you.
Where did you find the whole final drive assembly like that? I am having the same issue and I'd like to replace every like you did, but the only whole assemblies I've found have the same issue...
Great video ! How long it took you the whole thing ? I see you take off your pullover while putting back the shaft in the yoke (that drop down a bit) and the video is cut. How did you do it ? Thank you
You won’t. It’s just a chance you have to take. Ask the seller how many miles is on the bike when the shaft came off. The less miles the better. When you get the used shaft inspect and put grease on the splines before install it. Good luck
Nice video clearly briefed fr replacing final drive shaft. Where is the EBay need full address & contact # for my future requirement if any. I own c 90, boulevard is good bike from Suzuki.
This helped me out bunches rebuilding the final drive on an M50 - thanks for making the vid!
Thank you! Great video. I have a 2014 C50 BOSS. I love this bike. Your video I will save if and when I need to take on this job

Thank you brother !! Putting mine back together today

Most excellent video. Other than the final drive what else has typically needed replacement by 30k miles?

Same question for the three acorn bolts.
I believe They all have torque specs. You can Google it
I just hand tight them.
@@Yololife813 I'll double-check my service manual, Haynes manuals are not all that well written.

It was loose but not much like the one on the vid

Sorry I don’t know how’s that bond or how to apply it. I just replaced the entire shaft drive.

eBay
Great job. May I know the part number that is not working?
I ordered on eBay the whole used shaft. There was no part number. If you need part #go on partzilla.com and look up part number on their site.
@@Yololife813 thank you so much
Excellent video. Where did you get the whole final drive assembly and how much if you don't mind me asking?
eBay. I think it’s $100
I need to find tubeless wheels for my boulevard 08
Try eBay?
Here you can explain how to open and change the clutch valves of a Susuki Boulevard C50 2007 bike.

Took me little over 5 minutes get the shaft in.Just have to rotate the shaft and angle down. It will go in eventually
@@Yololife813 Thank you !
@@Yololife813 And what about the whole thing ? How long it took you more o less ?
@@alexandremiro probably little more than 2.5 hrs. If I did have to do the video, probably 1.5 hr

Just today, it happened to my wife's 2009 m50. Question. If you buy a used one from eBay, how would you know that it won't happen a year later again?
You won’t. It’s just a chance you have to take. Ask the seller how many miles is on the bike when the shaft came off. The less miles the better.
When you get the used shaft inspect and put grease on the splines before install it. Good luck
Good video. How many miles do you have on it?
30000miles

eBay app you can order anything on there. Just do a search
Where is the predecessor of the engine operating, Susuke Boulevard, opening and installation diagram
What year is bike? An are those factory rims?
2009 factory rims
It's a C50C
This manufacturer flaw I doubt is accidental, it’s intentional because it’s happened to too many.
You overdone it. It’s almost always the splines on the shaft drive itself
Just swapped mine out.. now my rear tires locked up😅😫
At least now I have your video for two!
Did you figure out why it lock up?
