Thanks so much guys. I feel like we should be blushing after such a brilliant show of what this Muc-Off product does. It's our favourite cleaning product at Dirty Life and rarely do we only sell it once. Everyone comes back to buy more. And the best part about the Silicone Shine is there was a $4 CAD /can reduction in price so it's down to $14.99 per can from $18.99 per can. I guess I need to introduce you guys to the Snow Foam this summer too! It's a huge time saver on the SxS units.

Good tips, I’d add with the power wash careful around stickers but particularly seals and bearings. I only used a power washer (water blaster we call them) to remove caked on bulky mud and I never used it on my road bike but that’s not to say you can’t obviously. Muc Off was my go to product for bike cleaning too for the most part.

I bought an $89 ryobi pressure washer for my machine it has just enough power to wash my machine without putting holes in the seat or peeling off stickers. My gas powered one was just too powerful and unnecessary. I also bought a foaming attachment and it works great.

One item that might help. There is a product, called a foam gun. It's an attachment to the end of your pressure washer wand. Pour a minimal amount of soap into it. Then spray down the machine and it will foam the machine completely with soap... it's a great. Also get a good leaf blower and use it to blow dry the machine. Saves a lot of time, yes they make a specialty machine for blow drying... $$$... up to you.

We try to avoid the pressure washer, and use the hose on our RZR, when i've used the pressure washer, it's introduced some issues with things like our tail lights. When i'm in a hurry i still break out the pressure washer for the heavy stuff, tho. And i love using the foam cannon attachment on the pressure washer.

Just an observation. If a person were to ride their quad at a medium speed and not gun their way through mud dirt and puddles their quad should not get this dirty. Even still it seems like the maker of this quad didn't have engineers who really considered the environment their machine would be in. That under carriage should have some kind of plastic or rubber guards to stop mud and water from splashing up. I haven't fully reviewed the diagram of this particular model but it seems like the engineers should have been able to make some splash guards fit within that platform. They also should have anticipated someone using a pressure washer to clean their quad off. Which means they should have designed the wiring, electronics and electrical connection points to be water proof. A machine is only as good as the engineers who designed it. Basically unless you are an engineer you will give zero cares about my comment.
