    Nice quad! It sure pays to keep one clean. Here in Kentucky where I live we have clay dirt. Once that stuff drys on a machine it’s almost impossible to get the residue/film that the clay dirt leaves behind off.

    what do you use to cover the air filter with

    • @PeteHager
      @PeteHager  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just have the supplied FCI outerwear over the media filter. Thankfully I haven't had issues with things getting wet. I do put a latex glove over my exhaust most of the time, sometimes I forget it. I always run the machine for at least 5 minutes afterwards to make sure any water that could've snuck into the exhaust evaporates out👍

    Do you spray any chemicals in the metal areas after washing to prevent rusting of any water that maybe left behind? Especially in those tight little creases.

    • @PeteHager
      @PeteHager  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Joshua Deonarinesingh I haven’t been spraying any additional chemicals on the quad. This how I’ve been cleaning it for around 100 hours of ride time so far

    Besides an exhaust plug what about intake plugs or bags ?

    • @PeteHager
      @PeteHager  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I could see myself getting an exhaust plug. I still have the factory intake so I haven't had to worry about water or anything. If I upgrade to an open air box set up I'll have to be more careful I'm sure

    I’m having trouble finding the pro armor bully front bumper that fits a 2019 raptor 700. Can only find one for a 450. Help?

    I have one question, and this is for anybody, What about bikes that have exposed air cleaners? Should you wrap a plastic bag around it before the wash??? Love the vids and awesome bike Pete

    • @PeteHager
      @PeteHager  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching my videos! Thats a good question about the air intake. I've never washed a machine with an exposed intake, I would assume covering it would make the wash easier

    Do you plug the air filter spot and exhaust? I just bought a 2024 700r and I absolutely do not wanna do something to mess it up.

    • @PeteHager
      @PeteHager  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      My air box is open so I just refrain from high pressure around the seat and it’s fine. Just avoid the tip of the exhaust the best you can. The main thing is to run the quad for a few minutes to help evaporate anything that could’ve gotten into the exhaust. I’ve never had any issues as long as I’ve done those things 👍
