I was thinking the same thing it's great to see Bradley getting involved and if he is anything like Derick he will be all good mechanic too bad Derick is partial to mainly working on GM I would love to see more of a variety of different vehicle brand's when I was a kid I was told that anyone can make a Chevrolet and they are just so boring because everyone does chevy build's and like Derick said LS swaps have been done so much that it's like trying to ride a dead horse in a rodeo and I ain't lying

Wait until he gets into his teens. Don't care how good a father is, sons always turn on their fathers in their teen years. They just think they know better. But maybe not in this case Derek talks to his son like he's just another man. Never talks down to him. But like I said the teen years are very challenging, both for boys and girls. I know I have three sons, and two daughters.

Really cool build can’t wait to see it finished, honestly the whole ls swap thing is way overplayed anymore. It’s cool seeing something different being swapped in it, keep up the good work.

I'm 53 years old my father was just as engaged just with fishing, hunting and golf. I appreciate Derek's fathering not seen much anymore. But it also starts with the little ones early years creating that foundation. Not just tv, computers and phone! I'll let him adopt me for the car stuff; much appreciated!

I like that we get to see the revivals for a second time getting some love. Your content is on point. The fact you get to dabble in as many different adventures and bring us along, is always entertaining. Keep up the great content.

Yeah, build on some of them you already have. Sometimes, people are just gonna whine at you. Personally, I like the recoveries, and the builds. Builds are what happens after the recovery a lot of times. In any case, I think a good bunch of us enjoy every bit of the stuff you put on your channels.

So true. The revival and the trip back home are but chapter one in the rebirth of these old rigs. You have to have all the following chapters too!

Yeah without doing builds after the recoveries, it's not even a recovery. It's just being moved to another yard.

Intake headers and a tune, and your at 400 to the wheels. If it is a 6.4. I take headers, cam, and tune and you are at 500+ to the wheels. Spend the mo ey for porting, and a stroker kit, and your at 650+ to the wheels. All for the same price as a big block.

It would also mean this is a 4th gen hemi right if this is off a 2009? Or perhaps they revised the engine afterwards through the 4th generation of the Ram?

Absolutely the best way to save time in the shop is to NOT have to take an hours-long "break" because you had to run to emergency to get a piece of metal dug out of your eye. Props to the use of basic safety gear.

No doubt they a good motor and easy to come by, but i have to agree, LS swaps have done so many times and its gettin a bit old now. A fella goes to a car show to find 10 cars in a row with LS swaps, gets a bit boring and repetitive and getting to the point of lack of imagination now. Good to see something a bit different happening for once.

It's really great seeing you giving all your boys time with you on different builds!! Reminds me so much of growing up and my father doing the same stuff with me. And I can tell you without a doubt I learned a WEALTH of knowledge doing these things with my pops. And he is now and has always been my hero for all he's capable of and has taught me. Your boys will undoubtedly feel the same!! Keep up the great content!

Totally agree on you with on limiting revivals to keep the number of cars down. The fact that you have done the hard part (for most people) opens the door for those who want to get their hands on a classic car or truck when you eventually sell some down the line, for that I am grateful.
Keep up the great work Derek!
