I love your channel brother. My only complaint is this: in 2014 I lost a really good friend to a freak accident. He was in the hurry to change his oil on his mustang and just used a floor jack, like the one you used. It failed on him while he was under the car and he basically died a pretty slow death as the car crushed the life out of him. His son found him about 15 minutes too late. Be safe bro. It's not worth it. Jack stands save lives.

My grandad used to work on old Lincolns and Oldsmobiles and Buicks out in his carport. and if its not that, its the governor in the transmission, easy fix. just a little round cover on the side, pop it out pull the governor and see if the shaft moves when you push the weights. if not, replace springs.
that and the modgulator valve, adjust the timing a little, i personally wanna see if he can get the AC to actually work XD very hard to find a camaro with working ac like that
another thing, with the gas in the back under the trunk, i found that to be a luxury at the gas pumps getting the choice to either side of the pump is pretty convenient

You should've poured some of that there sea foam in the transmission. You don't even have to pour it in. That stuff is so good that you can just pop the hood and chuck the bottle somewhere in the vicinity of the dipstick, and that thing will shift like a new one. Lol

When I was 16, I destroyed 3 transmissions in just under 2 years. What I learned though, was that in the GM automatic transmissions, reverse goes first. It takes twice as much pressure as the forward gears. So, if the transmission is starting to go out, you'll lose reverse first. So... when taking an older car for a test drive, put it in reverse and punch it. No problems in reverse, and she's fine.
What if I have reverse and it works as it should, but when in drive you have to bring the revs up between 1200-1800 before it begins move? This is what's happening in my 1980 Firebird formula 4.9 with th350

I'm not a paper salesman, but a typical sheet of paper is 8.5"x11". This is the absolute best channel on TH-cam. I'm always asking people if they watch it, and if not, I tell them they should. Lol

Derek, I live in upstate Ny by the lake. Where I live, inspections are just check engine light inspections. As long as your light is off and you have no codes, your good. Never had a mechanic look at anything.
I used that their same stuff on my rusted out 1968 Camaro it made the rust come back to full metal I’d shitttt you not son. If it was for this VGG I wouldn’t have even bought GUNK or that their liquid mechanic. Such an educational instructor.
That 305 is bullet proof, but it came stock with a 2 barrel carb and will run way better with it, only way that quadrajet wont bog is if its had headwork done.

My dad used to put the multiple wires in a drill chuck and let the drill twist them together. It actually can make a dandy looking 2 conductor speaker wire. Would probably work with enough of them for a bat tree cable.
I'm in New York, it really all depends on what place you go to get an inspection done, some of them don't even care. We don't need to get hooked up to the smog machine, just looked at really.
Your have to turn the Steering column to get it in park the Camaro of those years had the floor shifter and the steering column to like the wheel Grab the back of the steering column by the dash and twisted to the left and you’ll be able to get the key out

In Bulgaria you can definitely remove the Cadillac converters especially on older cars.

@25:00 minutes you can clearly see it arcing to the firewall or something big time, and he even calls it out he can hear "Arcing" but never investigates! I love this guy!

I live in Oregon and I have to go through a test every ten years to check emissions at the dmv. It's $20 onto the $200.00 tab fee. I lived in MN for the first 25 years of my life. So I thought to myself. I'll move to Oregon where they make everything more difficult. Just great.
