Once you know your dep/arr Rwys it is usually quite easy to see which SID/STAR most suits your dep/arr. (Of course you will need to have a set of charts for both airports)
Hello Paul, I am not sure I understand your question. If I wanted to fly from Poland to Russia. First I would need to know an aircraft I love to fly fly between Poland/Russia. If I choose say a TU-154 then I need to know which liveries fly between Poland/Russia. Once you know this then you just have to find which airports they fly between. Then you find the flight numbers and departure times.
Excellent Video my friend, like all others you made. I have a question. Where can i find the panel your using for the 747-200 and for the MD80. (they look very realistic) Thanks a lot.
Ed, is that you in the picture and is that you're voice? gbood to see the voice overlay!!! nice and smooth landing there.. you're improving on you're videos with more realism!! great video ED!!!
Quite a good starter (I find) is to go to airliners(dot)net and search the departure airport (say EPWA) and you will see which liveries/aircaft fly there (and if you are luck they may well state the dep/arr as well
LOL yes Paul I was thinking of making it more ITVV like ... I may well do in later vids! As for charts erm well I dunno I just read them! The main problem I see for simmers is writing a flightplan that has the correct transitions. Tell you what ..you choose you dep/arr airports ..pm me and I will help you with the SID's STARS
Hey Edd, I was just wondering if you could offer a little help with the 742 Autopilot. I can get the aircraft to hold altitude and heading, but V/S hold is proving a real problem. How would I go about setting up a climb of say... +1200Ft/m?
Please can someone help, at 7:11 seconds how do you get this fixed view on fsx. When I had fs2004 you would just move the tower but I dont know how to do this on fsx. Thanks
If you want to fly the VHHH/EGLL route I can send you my FS flightplan. The STAR will stay the same no matter what the winds at LHR ..but if the winds favour a 25L dep just edit the flightplan for a BEKOL 2B SID
I made many mistakes but that is not one of them, go and search airliners(dot)net for B-HIH and you see the passenger windows blocked out .... just like this paint
Ok well first..weather.. I use ActiveSky ver6 to d/l the real weather. I then save that slice of weather. Find out which Rwys are in use at your dep airport and the expected Rwys in use at your arrivals airport
hahaha the first image and the voices are awesome. Well done Ed
This video is very surprising too. The Cathay Pacific Cargo 747 looks very nice in their silver body. Very good impressions from the flight-deck too!!
that captain view on your panels is just awesome! Please share some pack's with us! I've search for it but couldn't found...
awesome video Ed,yet again!

This is my favorite video of yours, I do hope you make some more videos where you go to asia or something. :]

It's the Ready For Pushback 742, you can find it on Avsim or Simviation.
Quite a good starter (I find) is to go to airliners(dot)net and search the departure airport (say EPWA)

aircraft is freeware by ProjectOpensky, Paint is freeware by Mike Mahat, Panel is my edit of the Ready for Pushback V2 payware package
Definitely!...I have been missing her real bad.
I'll be souping up the panel some more also.
Hey Ed,
great video as always, what did you use to fly with your friends (FO FE etc)in the same aircraft? lol...
You cannot talk to ATC. I changed the FS Capt voice with my own post production.
The model is by Project Opensky...the panel is mainly RFP.
LOL yes Paul I was thinking of making it more ITVV like ... I may well do in later vids!

When you are at your crz alt ...open your ATC window and you will see the options for level change.
Is that Hyde Park (5:57)
Great vid!
where do u get those panels with the yoke?
why the callsign was B-HIH, not Chatay?
When you do long flights like this one do you speed up the rate or fly the plane in real time
Please can someone help, at 7:11 seconds how do you get this fixed view on fsx. When I had fs2004 you would just move the tower but I dont know how to do this on fsx. Thanks
I am usually using manual throttle by 1500ft ...I very rarely autoland.
Remember I use the recorder module for replays (which allows AI) not the default FS replay which is a pile of rubbish.
When at cruise alt I might do 4 X sim rate over boring sections of FS airspace.
It should be Cathay 007 .. I must have forgot to fill in the airline name and flightnumber in the aircraft cfg. So FS ATC uses the aircraft ID
I'm using CMA-900's actually but yes perhaps Litton's would be more appropriate.
If you want to fly the VHHH/EGLL route I can send you my FS flightplan. The STAR will stay the same no matter what the winds at LHR ..but if the winds favour a 25L dep just edit the flightplan for a BEKOL 2B SID
whats the VHHH scenery ed? :]
The voices that are not the stock FS ATC are my owm voice.
wat game and do you have 2 use a joystick or keyboard
I made many mistakes but that is not one of them, go and search airliners(dot)net for B-HIH and you see the passenger windows blocked out .... just like this paint
whoes vocies r those?
Ok well first..weather.. I use ActiveSky ver6 to d/l the real weather. I then save that slice of weather.

The avsim site and forum has all you need to know.
You got it! Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park
Howcome your's have the Bravo Hotel India Hotel (B-HIH) callsign. I have the same plane, but mine can go Cathay (flight #)
windsorboys i think to get that view you just switch to the FLYBY view when your close to landing
This is what youtube and flight simulator are made for! 5 stars AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes
Yeah that's me in the left seat ...n' yeah that's my voice! LOL
It's a gauge.
I am the Capt...and the Capt sits on the ....?
Truth is one cannot talk to ATC.
You have mail ....enjoy
Made it myself
I do indeed! LOL I don't sound like that IRL.
It freeks my girlfriend out...me as well actually!. I guess it's my piots voice.
Again Avsim has all the answers.
You can with FS9 but not FSX. LOL
