This is called commercial exchange and nor FAA nor EASA regulate commerce, otherwise protectionism like the one you show would have not permitted such companies as Airbus to grow. The only thing that would not bring competition in the world is that China keep these crafts for their inner market only. And even with it, our competitors to this aircraft in their country would be replaced mostly by their model if it's a commercial succes. And by the way, we are more dependant from China than China is from us. They could stop the world to work properly if they would ! They build almost every thing we buy and need. Like the A,320, this is a real technological plane, with sidesticks, a real safe landing gears, EICAS, not like the refurbished 737 with a contraption as the landing gears, because she has a midget landing gears, prone to tail strikes (model 10), still steel cables to the control surfaces, still the old control column...
Boeing fired all it's software department and out sourced it's 737Max flight control system to India for cost cutting resulting in flight hazards, I think the new flight control should had ratified accordingly.
You must understand the plane is not only item in a aurline industry. There are a lot of support equipment like staicase, food handling trucks, baggage truckd, cargo trucks and maintenance truck thst can fit the size of airplane. The C919 must be same dinension with A320 or else Comac have to redesign new support equipment and airlines hace to purvhsee new suport equipment. In order for seamless handling of A320. The C919 is built so that A320 support equipmemt can ve used also.
They always fly ils wether they sky clear or not visual take offs / landings are used when ils is not available or plane instruments is not trusted therefore the captain takes the decision to make visual approach and landing ! And pilots do it hundred times before doing ils at least in cessna as far as i know

Does the C919 use the Collins Pro Line Fusion avionics like the A220 does? The displays look very similar and even the radio altimeter callouts are the same!
Any cockpit interface designers here? Curious why the displays are not on top and the physical controls below it? I would think having displays closer to eye-level would make a lot more sense instead of spending hours looking down which would be miserable for a taller pilot.

There’s an app that pilots use to track their flights and courses on IPads. The pilot is flying with it to chart and log this flight into his digital logbook.
I find it interesting that to control an Aircraft you need to Move Physical things yet The Fly By Wire System removes all physical contact and is reliant on a computer. So all you have to do to down an aircraft is stop the computer working after pushing Nose Dive.

Yes, A320Neo and C919 have the same size Leap engine (A&C). But B737Max has a smaller one - Leap B model

It is to shield the display from strong sunlight up in the air. Actually your car has a similar shield over the dashboard.

Looks really roomy in the flight deck. Nice layout. Unfortunately I don’t think the New Zealand government is going to allow these planes into NZ airspace (so I’ve heard) which is a shame as it is always nice to spot a new aircraft type
