If you add more powdered sugar, it will be thicker. Hope this helps.
Maple syrup is so expensive here in Canada ($9 for a small bottle) while table syrup/ pancake syrup is $3 for a small bottle 😂😂
It's not super cheap here in the States either - but the quality is worth it!
