It would be an ideal aircraft for smaller airlines with less dense routes but which wish to open novel destinations . I am thinking of Aer Lingus with flights to Brazil (large Brazilian population in Ireland) and the Far East . Historically the smaller models of well established aircraft sell less well . These would include the A318/A319 or the B737-600/700 . They are perhaps too niche .
MEA may swap their orders from 4 A330-900neo to 5 A330-800neo series.

At least this aircraft is way better than the 787 which is garbage. Lately Boeing have experienced manufacturing defects on the 787 structure and fuselage. The A330 /A330neo is much more trustworthy.
Max 2 crashes in 6 months. 787 engine issue and quality control issues if correct and 757 is fine.

I think AIRBUS A330-800neo about the wide-body is too short makes no one Airlines buying the AIRBUS A330-800neo. But don't worry, maybe Garuda Indonesia will ordering AIRBUS A330-800neo if it is can.
