And who knows when the 777-9 would be available. The 787 had too many design and production issues with both the aircraft and engines, and it cost the launch customer ANA a lot of money as planes needed to be frequently grounded, inspected, and components replaced. With the production of A350 previous A 330 version finished now nobody want to use A330 only if its so cheap people use it, its out of Age - old and primitive version very early
Boeing tried doing things on the cheap and by doing so ruined its reputation. When flying at 35,000 feet people and airlines aren't taking any chances.
The real reason every airline wants AIRBUS A350 over BOEING ? Just like Garuda Indonesia, I wanted to Indonesian flag carrier/Indonesia's National Airlines choose on AIRBUS A350 over it's BOEING 777 for the future of longest haul flight route including European route, African route and South/North American route if it is can.
Honestly like how the 777-300ER was the right aircraft for the 2010s, the A350 came at the right time for airlines looking to replace their 777-300ERs which are now over 20 years old for some airlines.
"NEO" - New Engine Option. Doesn't need one. Existing engines are proven and economical Stretch for 777X ? Doesn't need one. The maximum capacity for the 350-900 is 440 and for 350-1000 is 480 The maximum capacity for the 777X-8 is 384 and for the 777X-9 is 426
No, let me tell you the real reason. So the story starts with the concord supersonic jet, who remembers those? They started crashing and falling apart because of the rivets that held them together, with prolonged flight time the rivets slowly shook apart and the airplanes fell apart. Guess what cheepo Boeing did with some of their airplanes and why parts started falling off? That's why no one wants them, they are a liability.
the script on this is bad. the 787 does almost the same thing, so why did airlines chose the a350 it does not explian it clearly, was this written by an ai?
Funny, Boeing has sold 1,142 of the 787, while Airbus has only sold 618 of the A350. And doesn't the A350 have problem with paint coming off the fuselage in large pieces in 2021, to the point they grounded their fleet of aircraft? In fact, Finnair, Cathay Pacific, Etihad, Lufthansa and Air France had also complained of paint damage as early as 2016. This may be one of the most biased pieces I have ever read on TH-cam. Shame.
the introduction is false Boeing was always bigger than Airbus due to longevity and experience a350 introduction was a worthy competition after the controversy it switched the tide to Airbus
@@AbdullahNajib-b9z That's fine and I know airfare is generally safer than cars however they've made some blatantly obvious shortcuts and then tried to cover it up so if I can help it when I pick my routes in aircraft I look for an Airbus if I can
It's not about favoritism. The 787 has been on the market longer. You can't "out sell" a product that doesn't exist yet. The 787 is a great aircraft, but the A350 beats it by a wide margin in capacity, efficiency and range.
Ultra simplified. Innovation is a loss of net revenue, only good for the long run. Cost cutting makes board members and stock holders happy. Airbus gambled on the long run, Boeing swallowed itself with greed. Then what Airbus gambled on was the apex of present commercial aircraft. Two as-good-as-it-gets engines coupled to a XWB well designed aircraft that cut no corners with the focus on extreme long range. This essentially is eating most of Boeing's market with the failed 787 and rehash of it's existing less capable or competitive aircraft. Boeing has nothing on the assembly line that competes with the A350 in fuel savings, range, and passenger capacity. More passengers and twice the range of the original Boeing 747 and almost half the fuel burn per hour.

Of course the 777 is 90s design and even there the B777 has been an unmitigated success. Of airlines now prefer the B777 it's because it's relatively outdated nothing more nothing less. The B777 has nothing left to prove as it's already a resounding success.
@IBo99608 If you can point out something that I wrote that wasn't factual, then I'd like to hear it. Fact, the B777 is the A350s actual direct competitor and the B777 has been a resounding success. They wouldn’t have ordered it without doing their homework first. They know exactly what route it’s going to service.
@@jeremypearson6852 Yeah that makes a lot of sense actually. Thanks!
Well, they probably won’t, the deliveries of the 350 is pushed back to 2030, and further deferred for multiple times and I believe they will end up cancelling it and go for the 777x
@@leebenjamin5790 That's true. I think it is still possible that they take them because of United's success with the A321neo.
Qantas has a large order for the A350s but it also has Boeing 787s on order in smaller numbers. Not a complete turning away from Boeing.
I wont fly on the MAX. Maybe its "safe" now but the safety oversights are unforgivable.
Airbus backlog is crazy
It works.
This is Airbus video marketing, without the French accent. The 787 shares many of the mentioned design features. Yet I think Boeing is dying. So damn sad.
I could not AGREE MORE WITH YOU SIR! GO BOEING! GO 787 ALL THE WAY. 🎉
Boeing has a new CEO who is an engineer not a bum MBA like Calhoun. As senator Hawley said that the only problem with Boeing is you (Calhoun) and your C Suite buddies.
@@pentametero Irrational: your comment is somehow huge good news to me. Cheers, so welcome to hear. Cheers sir. 🫡
A350 900 and 1000 are superior to 787 8 and 9 variants in NVH. 787 is obviously better than older planes like 340, 747 and 777 but falls behind the 350 in cabin comfort.
Luckily, it didn’t become the ‘Edsel’ of the airline industry.
Much better layout compared to the 787
airlines decide.the 787 is just unlucky enough to be the cattle class plane for flag carriers.
Safety.
Even Emirates taking them.
Gulf Air,Saudia and Oman Air:🗿
I will hate Boeing if they cancel the 777
Fly enough 350 business! Next
With the production of A350 previous A 330 version finished now nobody want to use A330 only if its so cheap people use it, its out of Age - old and primitive version very early
Worst trans-atlantic flight I have ever endured. Super tight seat spacing for Lufthansa, never again!
Boeing tried doing things on the cheap and by doing so ruined its reputation. When flying at 35,000 feet people and airlines aren't taking any chances.
i will.safer than cars!
777 IS WAY BETTER THAN A EGGSHELL
NOT EVERY AIRLINE IS GOING FOR IT! AMERICAN JUST CANCELED THEIR A350 ORDER AND AC MIGHT BE QUITE UNLIKELY TO ORDER IT AND ETC
I myself avoid Boeing everytime I fly
i fly.safer than cars

Best plane A350
Compare BMW to FORD and AIRBUS to BOEING and you understand why Airbus is a success. Quality/safety at its best.
yeah, airbus had such a good rudder design on the a300 600!weak compositing=rudder breaks off=bad situation.
A350 is the best
Honestly like how the 777-300ER was the right aircraft for the 2010s, the A350 came at the right time for airlines looking to replace their 777-300ERs which are now over 20 years old for some airlines.
It’s a fantastic aircraft in every way and by the most beautiful flying. All it needs now is a NEO option and a stretch one to match 777X.
"NEO" - New Engine Option. Doesn't need one. Existing engines are proven and economical
Stretch for 777X ? Doesn't need one.
The maximum capacity for the 350-900 is 440 and for 350-1000 is 480
The maximum capacity for the 777X-8 is 384 and for the 777X-9 is 426
No, let me tell you the real reason.
787 is better and more popular.
Bro airbus should buy Boeing like Mcdouglas got by boeing
That's the best laugh of them all! 😊
boeing dosent really have twin engine wide body long hual big capacity plane that can fill the shoes of a380 and 747 gap.
How do you compare in size particularly length of A350 and 777-300ER?so now you know who is genius?
last time i flew for work i looked for a airbus
BOEING CRASHES LESS THAN CARS
@@AbdullahNajib-b9z That's fine and I know airfare is generally safer than cars however they've made some blatantly obvious shortcuts and then tried to cover it up so if I can help it when I pick my routes in aircraft I look for an Airbus if I can
@@thetechlibrarian well i dont want a tail falling off,and i love the engine roar,so i choose boeing.
So many butt-hurt Airbus fanboys, always gives me a giggle.
I think that you are in Airbus Payroll......I've seen the 787 outsell your pitch by a longshot....
When did the nightmareliner enter service, dufus?
It's not about favoritism. The 787 has been on the market longer. You can't "out sell" a product that doesn't exist yet. The 787 is a great aircraft, but the A350 beats it by a wide margin in capacity, efficiency and range.
Because 787 had orders since 2009. What matters is orders after 350 came on.
A lot of talkin, not a lot of info
pay better attention then, da fuq? 🤦♂

787 and 777x compete
@@AbdullahNajib-b9z Right. 787 riddled with problems and the 777X now 5 years behind schedule and counting,

Bull. Boeing has it's issues but the B787 has sold 1000+ units with hundreds of orders unfulfilled. And the A350 is more compatible with the B777. Of course the 777 is 90s design and even there the B777 has been an unmitigated success. Of airlines now prefer the B777 it's because it's relatively outdated nothing more nothing less. The B777 has nothing left to prove as it's already a resounding success.
You're not the sharpest tool in the shed are you?
@IBo99608 If you can point out something that I wrote that wasn't factual, then I'd like to hear it. Fact, the B777 is the A350s actual direct competitor and the B777 has been a resounding success. If airlines are choosing the A350, it's because it's a more modern and newer design. Fact, the B787 has been a resounding success and has already sold 1000+ units, with hundreds more orders to fulfill. So no, every airline (exaggeration) is not choosing the A350 over Boeing. Now go crawl back under the rock from whence you came.
The best aircraft in the market is 787 why Boeing not working on it????
Boeing has the greatest reliability aircraft in the world .in fact airbus stole their design from Boeing
Boeing has great reliable record for very very long time than airbus.Remmber airbus of airframe crashed over Brazil sky few years ago
very rare to find people who are not affected by media bias these days.and yes-boeing is still reliable!
Airbus products are from a travellers point of view are crap. I have in the last 12 months travelled 787 A350 AND 777 NUMEROUS times in business class with multiple airlines. BOEING MAY HAVE LOST THE WAY a bit. I’m sure they’ll come back. But airbus’s are cheap from a passengers point of view and wear down inside quickly.
