My only problem with watching your channel. It's I feel like everything is too zoomed in too much. I want to see more of the quilt.

Would have loved to see the process of put backing , batting, topping to together than just talking . Make the tops are easy but the rest is a bit scary to the beginner.

I suggest using the backing as binding. It makes things easier. The hardest part is the corners at that point

I would love too see more of how to do the batting and the edges of the quilt. I am a beginner.
I finally found a video for beginners. But I have questions regarding finishing the batting process and the edges if that is what the term is called.
Thank you. I am happy to have come across this video.
      Keep Smiling

I agree with the comments made so far - this is a great simple quilt for beginners and you are fun to watch and listen to - you explain very well - you just need to explain more. Going at fast speed when you are repeating steps is great but more steps would be helpful - thanks so much for sharing 😊

Suggest that you film some of this from further away. Everything was so close up, folks can't see what is going on. Also, you did a fabulous job matching seams, you should show how you did that for people who are new quilters. As far as the quilt sandwich, you did not use pins to baste, did you use spray baste because you did not show that either. If I were a new quilter, and watched this I would think that you can simply quilt a quilt without basting the top, batting and backing which could be a disaster for a newbie. You did not explain why you need extra batting and backing all the way around. You did not show trimming and squaring it either. Your video quality is great, you are super cute and with a little learning I think your videos will be very helpful to many.

Very cute quilt. I don’t really understand why you would make 4 patches and then sew them side by side. Why not sew the charm squares in rows once you’ve decided the layout? I’m making a quilt for a baby boy using charm squares. I may use your 4 patch method and sash each block. Thank you for your tutorial. I agree with the others. I would love to see the entire finished quilt. Maybe hang it on the wall? I get lots of inspiration looking at quilts other people make.

I really like your darling quilt. When sewing the quilt top, batting and backing together, it appeared as if you started sewing in the middle, then next a seam to the side, then next sewing a seam across. Could you please tell me exactly how you proceeded to sew the three layers together in order to prevent the material shifting too much? I've completed three quit tops, but haven't joined them with batting and backing yet. I am planning to do that with straight stiching and as these are my first quilts, I need some advice. Thank you in advance for your opinion.
