This man must make his living on specifically putting those exact ear pads 24 hours a day. This was probably the hardest thing i have ever done in my entire life. i would pay someone to do this for me
this is the best comment on the internet ever. Of all the progressive advancements in science and technology, can't we come up with something better for replacing ear pads. This took me a solid 15 minutes to replace ...
You made it look SOOO easy, I had to do it twice, for me and my brothers headset. I wanted to throw my headset to the ground, but after a while I got both of them done, thanks!
A little tip for anyone struggling, it helps to apply pressure to where you first slot the ear pad into the headphones, and then try to fit the rest into the slot.
Thanks for making this video, my left ear cushion came off yesterday and i thought i had permanently messed them up. I had read on reviews that putting the ear cushions on were hard, but thanks to your video, i was able to re-install that left ear cushion easily.
i wanted to change to try the nylon (tried for like 30 min) ones and felt like i had to buy a new pair but i could get the leather back on thanks to you
@@sacredbread the nylon is porous. So you will lose loads of isolation and then you end up having to turn the headset up higher, which can cause other distortions.
Thank you so much, i have anger issues and couldn't stand being always almost to get it but failing at the attempt, the "pinch and go up" strategy was preatty usseful and made everything more comfortable ❤

for everyone who still struggles with it and think they are too small. yeah... they are smaller, but they do still fit in. First do it with buttom. | and you see that line on it > | < , this goes to the buttom. Try with the buttom part and hold it in place. But you will eventualy got it :) Now.... GOOD LUCK to everyone! You can do this!!
Thanks for sharing your ideas and help. Yes, new ear pads are not stretched out like your old ones. Your old ear pads were on your headphones for years, so the skirting stretches and fits around the plastic. New ear pads are like new shoes, they need to be worked in :)
Popped one off while trying to put the other back on. Genuinely if I wasn't broke I'd order a new headset right about now. Thinking maybe they could've been a little more clever with their design for ease of use.
This video would have been half an hour longer if you tried to put the secondary ear pads lmao. Thanks for saving me the time! I almost pulled out the scredriver and pulled the damn things apart!
The difficult is put the other ear pads on the Alpha S, the fiber-nylon ones. I gave up and replaced the original in faux leather, way simple to put back in place.
@@sxrimz5471 Cause for like the last 20 minutes i have been trying to do it without seeing this video so basically it took me 20 minutes to do them with the video.
The PU leather ones are best by far. The cloth ones will bleed sound like mad. You will notice difference. I think they were just added to the package to make it look good but overall they are not that great compared to the pu leather ones.
@@accessoryhouse I’m using them right now, I find them very comfortable, I don’t really mind about bleeding sound. The leather ones are really warm and have been hurting my head so I’ll try these out.
Yeah, the nylon pads are smaller and they do not have the plastic frame on the back. Best thing to do is to stretch the back skirting. First use you fingers to pinch the skirting and pull it outwards as you go around it completely. Then stretch is width and lengthwise. You can also use a hand iron by putting a towel over the back of the pads and steam the skirting. Then stretch them and istall.
You just need to stretch the back skirting. The original pads have molded to the frame and stretched over time. They were just as hard to put on at first. You can pinch the back skirting with pointing fingers and thumbs and use medium force to stretch along the skirting, go all the way around. You can also put the back of the pad on a radiator or heat vent for a minute to heat up the skirting and make it more pliable 👍
@accessoryhouse I honestly had to watch a few other videos, especially one from the company that I bought the replacement earpads from. I did eventually get it sorted out, but overall, it took an hour. 😔
I need some real help I have these headphones that are very simular and I cannot put them on its so hard everytime I slot it in and then pinch and pull another part everything else comes loose (atrix p-series)
You need to stretch the skirting on the back of the pad first. You can use an iron by placing a towel over top, steam and press and then stretch the skirting. Then straight to the installation while it is still warm and pliable. You can also try to get the top half in first and then tape it in place to free up your hands to finish off the more difficult end part.
