Oh boi! Thank you a lot, this tutorial was very much appreciated and needed. Putting those on my Alpha S was hyper(X) difficult because I was so scared of stretching and damaging the material. I guess I wouldn't be done the day after tomorrow without this video, no cap. 😂 Those new cushions are beautiful and cozy, much superior!
I was anxious about the procedure because so many people complained about it being so difficult, but actually this took me no effort at all, lol. My replacement pads are velour though, could this be the reason?
@@WickedCushions took me just 15-20 min to figure it out and get both in. You just have to not be afraid to stretch it. They are so much more comfortable than the stock ear pads. HyperX Cloud Flight.

Best advice: hook them in under the bow and pull on the pad and use the other hand to slowly put the lip in the slit but by bit.dont be afraid of destroying any of the components and use a lot of force
Unfortunately replacing it is the only tip I have, but I do not deal with replacing those since they are a little tricky. There are some headbands covers as well out there to buy
This video helped me a lot and definitely gave me the motivation to get the job done, but I'm very disappointed with the end result. The left ear pad doesn't fit properly, as the bottom part hangs out slightly and it's not aligned with the bottom of the right ear pad. I will be reaching out to your storefront on Amazon to see if I can get a replacement, or whether I need to send it back for a full refund.

It can't be because of my injury on my finger, cause I was able to get the left ear cup on with my finger in a splint (reasons). I'm not afraid to stretch it out or anything cause these pads are durable. I can easily put on the old pads on the right side but it's *not* a fun experience. Hmm...

I got wicked cushions for my Hyper X Cloud Flight S headset, they are wicked awesome. I also got some for my older beats solo headset too. great way to improve the comfort and quality of sound of a headset. It really helps with the noise cancelling. I will totally by more when more designs come out.

This is an absolute nightmare. My hands are all cramped up. :( Edit: What I figured out is, you have to grip by putting your fingers inside the lip. I was trying to hold it by pushing the pad against the side which just cramped my hands up. Holding your fingers inside the earpiece and pulling from the opposite side is what allows the pad to stretch and eventually fit into the groove. You're welcome!

@@Hr-ws1hy None of our ear pads will work on your headphones and not all ear pads will work on a headphone. It has to be compatible and most ear pads listing will tell you the list of headphones it's compatible with.
It was not difficult for me. I have owned the headset for a while so the pads that come attached's PU leather was starting to wear. Now the secondary furry ones you get are on. What helped me was that I wasn't afraid of pulling them a bit.

Just bought the cloud 2 wireless headset and the original pu-pads are sooo bad (i dont understand who think that the originals are comfy) but luckily i have many different spare pads with different shapes and sizes and I stuck suede pads from my old Logitech G pro headset xD 100x comfier and the pads "hole" is significantly bigger and about 5mm thicker :)

my advise, stop being so gentle. I got frustrated, even after watching the video, and said fk it, they rip they rip. the earpads are actually quite resilient. I was much more forceful on the 2nd side and it fit better. a little stretching goes a long way . just remember, they wanted it inserted, you just gotta do your part :)
I am sorry you feel this way, but I am not sure how much more explaining do I need to do for inserting a piece of leather into a gap... while I am exactly showing you how to do it at the same time. You are welcome to return your pads if you got them from us and try someone else - who will show you the same way of installing these pads

the band that goes on the head also is falling apart. the rubber materials are very sticky. any tips?
