I ordered speaker from eBay. I checked auction pictures very careful and pictures featured original speaker.
Unfortunately seller sent me a fake…
I requested for return and refund and was accepted straight away…
But… What if I didn't know how to recognise fake?
I would have a fake one and would be surprised how pure the sound is.
Please see few elements to pay attention.
I hope you have an original one.

I bought on eBay as original - the price was like for original as well. Paid £60.
Second original bought from Amazon paid £79.
Many fakes here in Mexico! They sell for only 200 pesos or so for this model! That's about $10! I heard one in a store, and ended up buying a made in china brand for more money!

Not sure I care about real vs fake. As long as they both work, sound good and last long.
fakes never sound good, they are hollow and amplifiers are terrible
Fake sound terrible when you compare with original. Believe me. I made compare test but yt blocked it due to song copyright and I had to remove this part from my video

One definite way to be sure that you're purchasing the real thing is to buy it from the company itself, that's how I purchase my items. I have the JBL Extreme 2 and the JBL Flip 6 and I ordered them from JBL.

Hi is safw to buy JBL Flip5 for 89$? Because i dont want fake photos sound real, but they can download them a they say they're authorized for Czech Republic (Iam too cz) and shop told 16 persons buy it
If they're authorised distributor should be ok. Just in case double check is return and refund possible.

Definitely not. This usb socket under cover have no chance to be waterproof

I had test sound but YT blocked video due to music copyright :( and I had to remove this part from video - SORRY.
Believe me, the difference was masive. Fake speaker sounds like a phone speaker nex to original one.
