Here's an interesting fact: some of Omolon's weapons are based on the underworld. Tuonela is the finnish underworld, Cocytus is a river in Hades, Orphne is a nymph that resides in Hades and Garmr is a Norse hellhound.

I am not sure how many people are aware of this but by studying the weapons and there projectiles, you can learn alot about how the weapons work. Hakke: fire traditional rounds normal brass and copper style rounds and have case ejections from there weapons that can be seen from first person. They have similar impact due to the ammos limitations comming from the crtrige restrictions due to this and other difficulties with a traditional ammo style, these weapons are reliable and non exemplary always being mediocre never impressive. Due to this middle of the road approach these weapons can be versatile without being hindrances in specific situations, e.g. the highly cognizable khvostov. Surros: use Case less ammo, Still a physical projectile and full but do not require an ejection of a cartage after each firing. because they are not limited by the need for cartage restrictions there damage and states can vary widely and are able to produce much high fire speeds without the worry of jamming with no cartage to remove. thus during reloads you are reloading either pre combined projectiles with propellant or magazines with a separated projectile and fuel which is then combine or loaded separately into the chamber. these weapons exist IRL since the late 70's and are the preferred means for large cannons, such as those found on Navy ships. Over all because the rate of consumption or usage between projectile and fuel can be adjusted by the weapon they are capable of being wide spread on all stats regardless of the arch-type, e.g they have both low and high impact weapons exist for each of there types. Omolon: Is definitely the most far flung as they are theorized to use round and fuel 3-d printed inside the guns using Glimmer. This is where the liquid we see on the gun comes from and go, this is also hinted at by there futuristic design and unconventional magazines. Many Omolon weapons have magazines that do not align or sit near the barrel and would be impossible to move rounds from one portion to another. But they do have another means to transport material from point A to B, Pipes, which carry the Gilmmer ( programable matter) to the firing location. These magazines couldn't possibly be energy cells or batteries and have the guns fire energy based projectiles as these would be an off shoot of a lazer, and due to the fact Omolon weapons have bullet travel this cannot be the case. There is such a weapon in the game that is confirmed to bee a laser and has nearly non existent travel time and that is the Sleeper Simulation. More information about these weapons and there characteristics can be drawn from studying there usage, interactions, lore and animations. The information i have stated is from personal research into all these factors and my desire for a more complete gaming experience from one of thee most "B+" Games of the year. For any youtuberes feel free to quote me on this info or ask me any questions about this or more for destiny as i have heavily research all aspect of the game, I would love to collaborate.

Now I see, the container of darkened blue color would correspond to stasis and the green would be for strand ofc. Omolon, until the Red War used that color for kinetic but now, we can see it is the white color. Now you can see all kinds of elements in at least half of the weapons or ish that are available on this ammo enterprise, I love this in depth lore thank you!
Cool analysis would of never thought about their weapons in general like that. Perhaps they don't have any high impact types, except for the snipers, so I tend to go for the ones that pack the most punch.

I love Omolon scout rifles, specially the Cocytus SR4. I never managed to get one with triple tap and firefly.

Technically Omolon weapons aren’t energy based, they just use a liquid ammunition. Think of them as super soaker on steroids.
Omolon has an auto rifle! Hard Light
Omolon looks and sounds cool but I find they just don't feel good, pretty sure they have lower AA and accuracy than most weapons.
