I know hunter is the most played (warlock and titan combined) but i feel warlock with the super when i fly and swing my fireblade or the grenade spam version looks so dope and i like it more… do they really make you play well of radience all the time? Cause i would play the sword with the dawn chorus(if i can focus it after buying legacy pack or beyond light) so the dmg would be same as the celestial marksman combo just the dps would be slower cause it takes time. Would it be really hard in end game pve with this setup? (Using polaris lance as exotic)
@@bdominik8497 I’m not gonna police you on how to have fun but know a few things: - You’re not gonna be forced to be well all the time. Some raids and GM runs you can volunteer. Other times you can give that responsibility to another warlock. And sometimes, you have 0 choice. Maybe cause you’re the only warlock or the activity demands a well. It’s just cause of how vital well is to dps phases it gets used a lot. Hence the “born to nova, forced to well” phrase known by all warlocks. - People are going to question you running Daybreak more than you not running well. A least in a raid boss encounter, if you said “I’m gonna run Needlestorm instead of well.” That’s fine because it’s a burst damage super. But you roll up with dawn chorus Daybreak (flaming sword) people are gonna question that. It’s not exactly optimal but since older raids are rated 1600 most people won’t care unless you’re the only warlock. - No. Celestial Marksman GG out-damages every other super. I think only Pyrogales Burning Maul can match it in total damage. So basically have fun with whatever exotic and supers you want but there are a few places in endgame that will force you to use the best. Master lost sectors, Master and GM nightfalls, raids and their master versions. (Maybe legend dares of eternity? Not really tbh.) Oh and one more thing. What is the ‘grenade spam version’? Are you talking about Starfire Protocol or Apotheosis Veil? There’s no super that lets you grenade spam on warlock without an exotic to boost your power.
In the end best advice I could give new players is try all 3. We have an option to create 3 separate characters and best option is to make all 3 characters
Hunters are the attack characters. They’re a fluid class and can be molded to fit any offensive play style you desire. Whether you’re looking for hand to hand or long range reconnaissance, they’ll fit. Warlocks are the support class. They have low shields and can be one slapped across kingdom come, but they’re also the scariest to go against with their whole focus being on destructive power and healing their friends. Titans are the tanks. The rock upon which humanity’s enemies are cast and broken. They’re a rigid yet fluid class that is focused on close to mid ranged combat and shielding their allies from certain death.
@@alexmaurice4274 In the first game, yes. From what I can tell, this also carried into the second game. Titans generally have more resilience in their builds anyway because of barricade. Titans also have more abilities and exotics surrounding this than the other classes. Warlocks are generally the weakest in terms of shield strength, though due to abilities and some exotics they can be decent substitutes for a Titan.
Great video! I've been playing destiny since the start of Taken King so I dont know why I decided to watch this lol. But I would like to say you explained everything very well. Hope all the new players enjoy!

Hunter - For people who wanna be a space-age Cowboy Warlock - For people who wanna be a space Wizard Titan - For people who wanna be a space-age Marine All of them are equally fun and each of them bring unique abilities to the table that can help any fireteam in any activity
Space Wizards? Huh, with 3.0 behind is feels like we are a low level wizard while the other two got to multiclass into wizard while being max level. We don't even get to be best at what we originally had.
I like the warlock most probably because it was the first thing I played as a beginner and I’ve basically mastered the flying over someone as I kill them attack
I’d say that in terms of raid teams, if you had a team that consists entirely of one class, warlocks would be the most capable, Titans not far behind, maybe on par with warlocks. Hunters do need to rely on the Titans and the Warlocks to live, really…
Thank you for the video! I'm gonna start playing this game with my friends and we were having trouble deciding our classes. This video solved that problem. Thanks again

If you really get fed up with it (like I did), just pull basic gear from collections and slap it on your character. Then dump all of your loot in the Vault. So long as you have at least one character, anything you put in the vault is saved, so make a second character if you haven't already and then delete the ugly character. Create a new one, go to the Vault, and you'll have your stuff waiting for you.
I started playing Destiny 2 yesterday and I’m really pumped about this game. Still can’t decide if I should go with the Warlock or the Hunter though. I usually play as a mage in RPGs but I do like the Hunter’s mobility and the invisibility you can get later.
I was a destiny 1 master and I'm just starting destiny 2 and I remember little to nothing about the first game. I started today and chose warlock (obviously because it was in destiny 1) and I'm having a blast remembering all the things in destiny 1
I will add that with warlock and titan their supers are bit easier to use and will get you a healthy amount of armor when cast to keep you alive. Hunters are high risk high reward supers, as they provide little armor when cast but when used in the perfect situation they help immensely.
As a d1 vet I can tell you that titan was kind of busted in PvP but then again I was young and don't remember much except shoulder charging every few seconds
Started destiny 2 as a Hunter but then was convinced by some friends to try out warlock but wasn’t told about how they literally just become a huge floating target if your not use to the controls 😭 plus the whole blink doge 💀 it was a mess and I haven’t touched my warlock since. Then I tried out the Titian but learned quickly they float too just not as much but immediately quit because I was still on about the warlock fiasco that took place. I’ve been a Hunter main ever since.
In my experience: Hunter: Good for players who prefer the run-and-gun play style, being able to be stealthy sometimes (as a Nightstalker anyways,) and let other players take damage for you. Titans: For those who want to play Destiny like a traditional FPS and where you’re the hero leading from the front, either taking the fight to the enemy or using your bulky strength to defend your team. Warlock: Meant for people who prefer to support others than do the fighting themselves, until their Supers are charged, then go ham 😂
Using this video to get my gf to start Destiny 2. You're very informative while being easy to understand and an absolute help overall. Its a sub from me, Mr Bald Spice sir
To be fair, a LOT of the stuff our class has gotten over the years has been seriously nasty, and a bunch of it went a pretty long time before being dealt with. Tlaloc? Yeah, it got nerfed, but it was honestly still overpowered afterward. Hell, it still is to this day. Handheld Supernova was WAY too good, and we all know it. This was especially true if you used Contraverse Hold. That went A YEAR AND A HALF before being dealt with. Was the nerf a little too harsh? Absolutely. But, again: A YEAR AND A HALF before being dealt with. I missed out on basically all of year 2 of D2, so I only got to play with it for about five-ish months, and even I was honestly feeling pretty bad for the Hunter and Titan mains having to deal with it. Sorry, I get a bit long winded when I'm tired. My point is this: all three classes have their moments in the cycle of this game where they feel like the red-headed step child. It's looking like BL (year 4) is just the Warlock's turn, and the Hunters are getting their turn to be OP as fuck.
Boi, you being real biased. Jokes aside I like how you convey your class preference in a humorous manner and can still give a fair and general overview of how each 3 classes work and their implications. Also, Titans raise your barricades and give them a taste of your mighty fists!
Everyone kept saying Warlocks were nerfed. You sure? I’ve used them a lot in both PVE and PVP recently and I’m murdering everyone like crazy, hell I found it much better to use than Hunter IMO. I’m usually a Titan main but after trying this I really wonder if Warlock was nerfed as bad as everyone made him to be.
They do get nerfed but not that bad. There are those times when a subclass like middle tree void is absolutely busted for some time and hunger just nerfs it into the ground.
8:20, Axe? Do you mean Ice Pick xD? (Correct me if im wrong because I dont want to sound stupid, but it is an ice pick right? When i use it i always see an ice pick.)
I play hunter for Night stalker. First off names dope. Second the bow and arrow leaves a orb that sucks in enemies and damages them. Then theres triple jump. Its a decent class
My option warlock BC it's best for PvP and looks better and you can get horns on your mask unlike the hunter but hunter is a more fast paced character but warlock is my play style
514edouard Don’t, Titans are pretty fun to play, trust me, they are awesome, you just have to learn to use them, I suggest the Solar Sub class it is really good, and the gear is really cool looking.
I highly recommend new players to play as all 3 classes. I used to main Warlock in D1 and then Titan in D2, but I’m slowly starting to love playing Hunter. IMO Warlocks have the best grenades, melee abilities and supers. Titans have the best jump and are the fastest by default. Hunters look the best.
What I meant to say is, I was playing and I picked Titan screen, to start. Now, if I wanted to switch let's say to Hunter screen. Is there any button I have to hit, without going back and restarting the game again
I haven't played since 2018 and don't really know if I should pick it back up again, would there be any point in buying the older expansions, I'm not sure.

If you start hunter and achieve mastery, warlock and titan will feel like a joke to you because everything feels so easy. Hunter is the most effort but imo the most reward. Some of the most legendary players and plays both pvp and pve have come from hunters.
@@bdominik8497 I’m not gonna police you on how to have fun but know a few things:
- You’re not gonna be forced to be well all the time.
Not really tbh.)
Oh and one more thing. What is the ‘grenade spam version’? Are you talking about Starfire Protocol or Apotheosis Veil? There’s no super that lets you grenade spam on warlock without an exotic to boost your power.

100 resilience warlock gang😎
Does shield health change depending on your class?
@@alexmaurice4274 In the first game, yes. From what I can tell, this also carried into the second game. Titans generally have more resilience in their builds anyway because of barricade. Titans also have more abilities and exotics surrounding this than the other classes. Warlocks are generally the weakest in terms of shield strength, though due to abilities and some exotics they can be decent substitutes for a Titan.
Me who has been playing destiny 2 since day 1 and has always been a warlock main: Interesting 🤔
Great video! I've been playing destiny since the start of Taken King so I dont know why I decided to watch this lol. But I would like to say you explained everything very well. Hope all the new players enjoy!
Warlock: casual gameplay
Hunter: sweats, running, intensity
Titan: *doom music playing*
I'm titan main here. Was just trying to find vid for my friend that wants to start playing destiny to decide on his class. Although I have a baaaad feeling he will choose hunter :D
Titans have almost everything other classes have, like hunter dodge (new arc titan class ability) and a enhanced healing rift (loreley splendor)
Hunter - For people who wanna be a space-age Cowboy
Warlock - For people who wanna be a space Wizard
Titan - For people who wanna be a space-age Marine
All of them are equally fun and each of them bring unique abilities to the table that can help any fireteam in any activity
Space Wizards? Huh, with 3.0 behind is feels like we are a low level wizard while the other two got to multiclass into wizard while being max level.
We don't even get to be best at what we originally had.
Mmm lets talk about PVP
I like the warlock most probably because it was the first thing I played as a beginner and I’ve basically mastered the flying over someone as I kill them attack
Dont know why I watched the video I’m playing destiny since day one
Same
I’d say that in terms of raid teams, if you had a team that consists entirely of one class, warlocks would be the most capable, Titans not far behind, maybe on par with warlocks.

Awesome video! I just got Destiny 2 today and couldn't decide which class to choose, but this really helped me decide.
I started playing Destiny 2 yesterday and I’m really pumped about this game. Still can’t decide if I should go with the Warlock or the Hunter though. I usually play as a mage in RPGs but I do like the Hunter’s mobility and the invisibility you can get later.
Just go the sigma route, debating between Warlock or Hunter? Go Titan
Yup and thats why i always get plenty of kills in pvp OR CAST REVENANT INTO THE CEILING CUZ YOU GET A LITTLE BOOST IN THE AIR WHEN YOU CAST IT!!!!
As a d1 vet I can tell you that titan was kind of busted in PvP but then again I was young and don't remember much except shoulder charging every few seconds
same can vouch
It doesn't matter which one u do or pick since you have to get all subclasses for all the classes giving u three trophies
I don’t usually comment but, this video was a ton of help. You did a great job explaining it all Thank you!

Hunters for the opposite

titan. use titan
Then use Sunbreaker Titan, long ranged hammer. It is like you are Thor, but it’s more magical, and it is really fun to obliterate hordes of enemies.

In my experience:
Hunter: Good for players who prefer the run-and-gun play style, being able to be stealthy sometimes (as a Nightstalker anyways,) and let other players take damage for you.
Amazing! EXACTLY what I was looking for pre-download!!!
Hunters: We like to roll on the ground...it’s fun, you can wear cloaks and stuff.
Using this video to get my gf to start Destiny 2. You're very informative while being easy to understand and an absolute help overall. Its a sub from me, Mr Bald Spice sir
Warlock, if you’re okay with having 99.999% of everything about your class being nerfed to the ground
I feel this and it hurts
As warlock main it hurts
@@coreywilson3493 nova warp got nerfed hard, as well as warlock stasis

Also, Titans raise your barricades and give them a taste of your mighty fists!

Everyone kept saying Warlocks were nerfed. You sure? I’ve used them a lot in both PVE and PVP recently and I’m murdering everyone like crazy, hell I found it much better to use than Hunter IMO. I’m usually a Titan main but after trying this I really wonder if Warlock was nerfed as bad as everyone made him to be.
They do get nerfed but not that bad. There are those times when a subclass like middle tree void is absolutely busted for some time and hunger just nerfs it into the ground.
