Majority of the items you purchased were from the "Divided" section. Divided is advertised towards the young tween/teen. I would recommend shopping in either "Everyday" which is a solid neutral horizontal tag that says HM or my favorite department, "Trend" which is a higher end ($$) trendier department but the quality is so worth it! I used to work for the company and after many years, it's still my go to! :) Happy Shopping!!
Every time they mentioned getting the items cheap from H&M because they might only be in style for a couple of months I CRINGED. this is the definition of fast fashion. Big brands like H&M are notorious for producing clothing that is totally unsustainable. Think logically. A $4 t-shirt, that was shipped across the globe. How much did the person who made the t-shirt earn in order for H&M to sell them at $4 and still profit?

When I am in my career (not broke af) after I graduate I will buy from sustainable clothing brands but right now I can’t afford to buy anything else. I am sustainable in my food choices, not using plastic as much as possible, recycling everything and repurposing things as well as donating clothes/things i no longer use. I am not saying it’s ok but I am sustainable in the ways I can be. Once I have the money to buy from sustainable brands I will.
They won't stop until people stop making videos Because they think people want to see stuff like this period so the more views you give it the more these people are gonna keep buying the stuff from this place in the more money the places are gonna make for slave labor.

I always thought stores like American eagle were for people on the small end but I bought my first pair of pants and top from them and they fit perfectly. I’m a big curvy 16 year old with big thighs but your videos are allowing me to take a better approach to how I view myself when clothes don’t look the best or fit right on me. I'm American, but currently living in London and literally H&M is SO SO SO much better here. I have no idea why, but the styles are so much better than back home. I never used to shop at H&M, but once I moved here it's my favorite place to shop.

can people stop bitching about others using fast fashion ?? almost any brand or thing you buy has an unethical origin and even if people 100% stopped shopping in fast fashion, human slavery and other world problems related to it aren’t gonna stop. besides its not just in clothes, it’s in almost all things you buy or own. i just hate this stupid guilt shaming people keep doing, as if they stopped contributing it.

There’s always room for improvement and it’s good to be aware of the problems even if you do choose to ignore them, which is up to everyone personally. That goes for the vast majority of companies (and I'd argue that if a company isn't transparent enough to be evaluated, there's reason to be cautious and not praise them to the heavens yet either). Fast fashion largely exists because people can't afford to buy high quality products for everyday wear. Would I love to only buy clothes made from recycled cotton and produced under ethical circumstances? Yes, I would. Can I afford to pay 50 quid for a t-shirt? No, I can't. So either I buy one t-shirt and wear it until it falls apart, or I buy 4-5 for the same price from H&M or similar, and get to actually wear clothes that aren't worn out.
