You can have a gravel street and step into a first world coffee shop. It’s hard to explain. Generally people are quite helpful and the women are pretty and sweet. It’s island life. Give me the creature comforts and nice people and I can tolerate some broken streets. It is sad to see some poor though but not everyone is poor and even the poor have a good attitude.

My Dutch friend was taught in the school that in Philippines when you kick a coconut tree a whole family of Filipinos will fall 😂. I just okay. And I don't care how'd they see Philippines, I don't need them there. And yes we have a house near BGC😂
Am sure Brian youre aware whats going on in diff states/cities of US like sta monica, san francisco, los angrles,NY to name a few.crime, homeless piled up in the streets of LA, SFO,,NY.Here in the Philippines yes there are homeless/crimes,but theyre isolated, cant find them in major cities.
You focus in small pieces of land
Agree
It’s a mix of first and third world, not just in the Manila area, it’s everywhere. Some old and some new. Generally, more safe than a lot of places.
BGC is beautiful a nd as a filipina i am happy for that but we cannot deny that there's a.lot of pockets of slums still exists because they want to make a.living in some way in the city in which they cannot afford to have a good standard of living but it start to get better. Only God can make things perfect all over the world.
Foreigners may think, we already burned down our poor neighborhoods. NO, we love them so much hehehe
BGC is a moderm city develop by rich pilipino and rich foreign investor they maintain the quality of life in this city it could be considered a private city very expensive to live.
O.k.ok. 1 % first world, but 99 % 4. World.....
Actually, Philippines is Lower middle country in truth...
There are lots of nice places in the Philippines. You might be thinking that you are helping when, in fact, you are doing a disservice to the country if you only show BGC.
Philippines is not a third world country but third dimension world country.
BGC is just a dot in the Philippines and not at all represent the entire archipelago, it's a playground for the well off
I like this US guy that love philippines so much
BGC is already the entirety of the Philippines.
Base on salary and economy Phil. Is third world.
where are all the smiling faces? Could they be in the villages?
I wouldn’t live in BGC, I prefer the province.
Congrats, you just featured one side of the country.
Did you just pronounce "lechon" as "Le Shawn"? ❤😊
Another great day in BGC....Take care man......
Stop Glazing and show the slums. stop pinoy baiting!
Sir yes sir! 🫡
'Myth' not shattered, truth upheld
BGC is just a bubble of what the entire country could look like. Outside of that bubble is very third world looking lol… everyone like showing the nice parts but look up all the slums in Manila or look outside into the provinces… people still live very poorly.
Drive a few blocks away and tell me about it
yeah, drive to entertainment city, and eastwood city, also ortigas, tell me about it
@@gangstagummybear3432yeah drive to tondo and tell me about it

If u go to provincial cities, u will see it's really third world
It's too hot and polluted.
Dude, Make America Great Again. I'm a FilAm voting for Donald J. Trump on November 5th.
Go outside of the Makati, and BGC bubble, which is considered the Beverly Hills of the Philippines, and observe the dire poverty, persistent begging, lack of good infrastructure, etc., and you will get a more complete picture of the country as a whole. Another video blowing smoke up your caboose. Shake yourself awake from the dream.
$620/mo with ac within BGC?
Philippines is a 4th World Country 😅
All videos are same content 😂😂 try to go Makati City go to Mall of Asia

@@Satocol12 Payatas has been transformed by the QC government. It's now a park with bike trails.
BGC is 0.000001 % of what the real Philippines look like 😂 lm Filipino who has been to many 1st and 3rd world countries. Honestly speaking, my country is a dump, even compared to other 3rd world countries. But despite all this, Im proud to be pinoy 😂💪😎
sadly you see those high rise building slim to none of them was a filipino owner most of them own by chinese business man
You’re talking about a city that is inside of a city that’s completely a bubble and to add it’s rather poorly built.. one bad typhoon, you’ll see that golden city sink.. also, the Philippines is third country… they are in extreme debt..💸 with invention of AI. They’re going to lose insane amount of jobs in the service industry.. the way they are alienating tourists and expats looking to retire will just add another nail in the coffin..⚰️ so many other choices and Southeast Asia with way less hassle.. real estate is more expensive than New York and Tokyo… you can only play pretend for so long.. Just wait five years it’ll be a different story
Well yah sure you can pick out a lot of nice areas in the Philippines and say its not like that, but as someone that's lived there, I'm afraid the majority of the Philippines is underdeveloped and quite poor compared to western countries sorry but that's the real truth of the matter
yes it is still 3rd world! seeing nice area does not interpret the while country and economically!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
This shit is clickbait
He was being sarcastic. His opening statements though actually describe the United States, because in the US, crime is just around the corner and you will need to learn Krav Maga and have a knife/gun to deal with Americans.
Pinoy-baiting at its best😂😂😂😂😂
❤❤❤
Ppl saying Philippines or manila isnt third world are deluded living in their top 1% neighborhood
Thanks God bgc is run by security guard not police. In America and other part of the world when it comes to police. Bad reputations. 😂😂😂😂😂😂

To be fair, many ASEAN cities have grown much better especially the past 20 years. If you talk about first world cities - KL, SG already and soon BKK will become first world cities. But, first world countries is a different matter, PH although have improved, their GDP of capita is still only US$4,000+. Not 3rd world for sure, but developing country.
@@JoeyZee-vs4krYeah, you’re wrong. It’s ranked 20. It’s also literally the densest city in the world. More than any city in India. More than any city in China. So skyscrapers per person in Manila is extremely low. And are you seriously arguing that sidewalks in the Philippines are walkable? Walk literally a block or two outside of the bubbles like BGC.
