I am looking to get some lithiums in my boat here soon. Is there any kind of safety concern or have you had any issues with your batteries right next to your gas tank? That is exactly how my setup would be in an eclosed area in my bilge. I think it'd be safe and perhaps I am overthinking it all but I am new to lithiums, so I'd love to hear your take. Great video!

I just bought the same battery for my 12v minn kota trolling motor. I read something that mention of you run the motor on high that it would burn out the brushes in the motor because the lifepo4 battery puts out mor voltage. Have you heard this or experienced any issues? I also have the same charger but I haven’t used it for my new battery yet. Does it charge ok at 5amps?

No issues charging, 5a can take a while to fully charge but always finished over night. A full charge on the battery is around 13.8v so it will be a little higher than a lead acid but unless you are running on Max for extended periods I can't see it being an issue. I rarely if ever troll on Max speed.

Can I use the lithium battery for my main motor I have a 60 horse power mercury 4 stroke looking tk get a greenlife lithium g100 12v or should I only use it for a trolling motor ?

Nice upgrade yet don't let lithium drop further than 80% for a better long-term experience.
